  • I remember how that type of vacuum cleaner was the preferred choice at the schools I attended back in the 80's and 90's. I always thought it had a very interesting design concept.

  • Wow, 1948?!?! Neither I (nor Tom or anyone else!) thought for a second it was a 62-year-old machine, all of us had guessed it was from the 1950's or 60's, but that makes it an even better testament to the durability and longevity of these impressive cleaners. I still have the video I took when I brought it out a few weeks ago, it WILL be put up during this lifetime when I get a solid Internet connection!

So now you have the only currently known working Model M in existence!

  • @westytoploader Tom was the one that told me it was a 1948...

  • Yep, pretty awesome. The air-flow on this machine is just tremendous! Wanna have some fun ... hook up a turbo rug nozzle or floor polisher and watch it take off into outer space!!

  • my gowse your a lucky guy!

  • Not the best looking video, oh well. Will make a better one of the thing when I'm done restoring it.
