How to upgrade the Memory in a 15" PowerBook G4 (Aluminum)

the ram that was used in the video is DDR2 but when searching for what type to install i saw that for the 12 inch you should use DDR. So could I use DDR2 for the 12 inch model or does it depend on the Mhz?
