As a non-Muslim, I've always wanted to ask, why is there a prohibition against "drawing" the Prophet Muhammad? As Americans, we live in a country where freedom of speech and expression is practiced and celebrated. I can understand if MUSLIMS are prohibited from drawing the Prophet, or risk a fatwah and being killed -- but ALL people are prohibited? This is silly. It makes no sense. In the U.S., we can draw, paint or burn whatever we want, and not be killed for it. What say you?

This particular verse does not address the 'trinity', please know what you are reading. It clearly says "besides Allah (God)", not alongside Allah. The Book of Esther is one of the books of the Hebrew Bible. These books are religious books and not 'fairy tales'. Do you enjoy mocking people's religion or something? Solomon was a Prophet of God. God gave him a great kingdom, he could talk to birds, ants e.t.c , but only through the grace of God, Almighty.

The approach to Da'wah is not about mere dissemination of facts, the approach has to be delicate. It is the way of the prophet. Words and approaches with pure sincerity and love for mankind reasonably sensitive to their feelings the least offending any mankind.
Taking it positively I think the offended guy is trying to say preach Islam without offending other religion. Regardless of the fact there is a probability of people getting offended so taking it positively I think its ok for Muslims to be cautious and mindful using their wits to convey truths.
Isn't it dangerous to preach Islam in the US ? Well sometimes you have to show that you disagree to prove a point so being offended is a state of mind not many people can deal with positively. In the case of the Trinity, it`s not a matter of limitation in our knowledge, it`s a matter of an inherent Contradiction in the Doctrine of the Trinity. As a non-Muslim, I've always wanted to ask, why is there a prohibition against "drawing" the Prophet Muhammad? As Americans, we live in a country where freedom of speech and expression is practiced and celebrated. I can understand if MUSLIMS are prohibited from drawing the Prophet, or risk a fatwah and being killed -- but ALL people are prohibited? This is silly. It makes no sense. In the U.S., we can draw, paint or burn whatever we want, and not be killed for it. What say you?

Mohammed did not have access to the Bible at his time. And so we see that he didn't even know what the Trinity is. The Quran says the TRINITY is God, Mary and Jesus.Quran 5:116. So what is there to debate about when the Quran evidently does not even know the concept of the Trinity in the Bible. Let's agree that God,Mary, Jesus is not trinity. @jamestrekky Some Christians view Mary as a Goddess, and other (a large majority of) Christians view Jesus as God. This particular verse does not address the 'trinity', please know what you are reading. It clearly says "besides Allah (God)", not alongside Allah. So the Qur'an does not portray the trinity as being 'God, Mary & Jesus'. If you want reference to a verse in the Qur'an which does address the 'trinity' then go to 4:171.

Did you know there are many stories in quran that are copied from earlier writings which we know are incorrect? The story of Jesus talking as a baby, solomon talking to birds, talking to ants, and others, come from stories we know written earlier as fairytales for children. these stories we find in the quran!! they were translated into the arabic. but not the Bible at the time.

This is known to be a fairytale written for the entertainment of Children. So why do we find these stories in the quran?? Because they were translated in the Arabic. The story of solomon and the birds throwing stones. In the 2nd Targum of Esther. This is also a known fairytale. There are many more!

The Book of Esther is one of the books of the Hebrew Bible. These books are religious books and not 'fairy tales'. Do you enjoy mocking people's religion or something? Solomon was a Prophet of God. God gave him a great kingdom, he could talk to birds, ants e.t.c , but only through the grace of God, Almighty.

The Noble Prophet (saw) was particularly kind to slaves. He used to say, "They are your brothers; give them to eat what you eat, and give them to wear what you wear." As people had to brand their camels and sheep in order to identify them, they were told to brand them on parts which were not so tender. And the quran is almost impossible to read. Have you read it all? It is not arranged as a narrative, it is arranged by length from long to short! That is strange itself. It jumps from here to there with no context. Did you know even scholars do not understand about 20% of the quran? Isn't it dangerous to preach Islam in the US ? Well sometimes you have to show that you disagree to prove a point so being offended is a state of mind not many people can deal with positively. There you were trying to lay the facts to them but all they want is to argue away. Surah Al-Kafirun explains all. @gizzyblackie My friend, yes his birth is a miracle, but that does not make him God, or even the son of. The Quran and Mohammed talk extremely highly of him and class him as the greatest of men. I recommend you read the Quran so at the very least, your arguments can be stronger, if not help you to become wiser - by definition, closer to God.

Muslims don't call God "holy spirit" because spirits are created things however God is the Creator of those spirits. Muslims would rather call God "Lord" and "Creator".
But I have no problem with the statement: "Worship God in spirit" because it implies we must worship Him in faith, sincerity and true devotion.

You are making up your own interpretation of words instead of taking them directly as bible says. God is Spirit even in Genesis 1:2 so you can't say it is made up by Christians.

John 4:23 only says God is Spirit. It says nothing about a Trinity of Divine persons.

In the case of the Trinity, it`s not a matter of limitation in our knowledge, it`s a matter of an inherent Contradiction in the Doctrine of the Trinity. We cannot comprehend how God is Omniscient, but we cannot accept the claim of Jesus being Omniscient and ignorant at the same of time.
