  • No longer on ThinkGeek... :(

btw How much did it cost when you bought it?

  • you have to bring that to a airport!!

  • you can (if you like) dismount the device, soldering cable on the sound or the red lamp and when you use the total destruct button. (connect the othe extremity of the cable on an explosive and when you push the button.... BOOOOMMM) XD

  • Someone please bring this to their school hahaha

  • Looks cool, sounds like a fun thing to have, but it sounds like crap.

  • You payed $60 for a noisemaking USB hub?

  • so you buy it and it makes a shitty quality NES exsplosion sound?

need i mention how small it is?

  • @1purplekittykat Yes! Don't forget, it's a USB Hub with 4 Slots too!

You can blow stuff up, get nostalgia, and have 4 devices connected to your computer at once! Think of the possibilities!

  • If when the button is pressed it just had a beeping, perhaps increasing in speed, that'd be better, rather than that terrible explosion sound effect.

  • think geek wants 60 dollars for that? wtf

  • would be hilarious if it reformatted your computer

  • So, I've always wanted this since the first day I saw it on ThinkGeek.

And why wouldn't I? Two switches, a key, and a button. I would feel like I have so much power.

    Amazingly awesome? Yes.

    Wanted as a gift? Yes.

Worth the $50 price tag? No.

  • How much are they?

  • Ok, so your telling me that it makes a noise and then... That's all?

  • will the hub work on a mac? i plan on buying one so please let me know

  • Dies the keys and switches in the off position keep the glass over the button locked?\

  • GOD DAMN YOU YOU JUST BLEW UP MY COUCH!!!!

  • WTF... booooooooooommmmmmmmm!!!!!

  • does it have to be plugged in to work

  • is .is that it that sucked

  • It's just cool. If you don't like it, that's okay. No one makes you buy it.

  • not worth 50 bucks haha

  • Heres a diy version i made that launches a program

  • LAAAAAMMMMMEEEE

    so fucking lame

  • Gah! When You Pressed That Button My Cat EXPLODED!

    Everyone Protect Your Cats!

  • @GoldKnightProduction yay a cat killer! we got Domo and now this everyone protect domo and this doomsday device

  • if this worked with Defcon somehow i would but it

  • mine doesnt work! i turn the switched in the right order but it still doesnt work! any help?

  • If you get this along with the Luxeed light-up keyboard, you can do some UBER science fiction films!

  • Almost bought one, but decided i would get bored with it too fast so i didn't. I WOULD have if it would turn my computer on with that red button, considering it need's a key, that would actually be quite a usfull item for authing a computer.

  • is it possible to programme this to do other things like when you press the big red button it does somthing on your pc/mac screen like virtualy blow somthing up? That would be cooler than just make a silly noise. I do think it looks cool but i expected it to do more. even make a little video of a mushroom cloud would be cool.

  • As far as I know you can't program it to do anything. It just acts as a hub for other USB plugs. Just looks cool that's about it...

  • A hardware hacker could probably gut the insides and use it for something like that with a custom circuit board (like Arduino or Freeduino), but I have no idea how to do that.

  • @Vladflame @mp3j0ker

You could open it up re wire it to a mini storage device that's pre loaded with an .exe file that when it's connected and activated it does something. (Wipe the HDD clean)

  • this is something no one needs but everyone wants
