  • The sad, but beautiful haunting lament about The irish Famine, Paddy Reilly sings it to perfection as always.

  • hey

i am living in boston, i am going to go down to see it in rhode island. thank you for the posting. God Bless America

  • really cool video , im glad 2 c this was dedicated 2 us irish in america xD

  • i have been in providence it was a lovely place and like most of the east cast felt connected to ireland lots of irish names etc .the memorial to the famine in sligo was haunting with the statues of the people barefoot and starved still makes me angry to think this could have happened in a fertile island like ireland probaly explained beter elsewhere but people of my grandparents generation would have known people old enough to remember the famine .

  • irish people dont speak Gaelic, we speak ''gaeilge''

  • Great Video. Just remember ther was a lot of food in Ireland at that time which the english stole for profit. "u stole trevelyns corn, so the young mite see the morn"

  • you blew up my shop.

I now support Islam in it's struggle against American oppression.

  • Yes indeed, food was exported out of Ireland by the shipload while its people starved to death. How the people must have hated Trevelyan at that time. The maise that was imported was very poor quality but People were desperate enough to get food anyway they could. They did not deserve to be taken prisoner for it.
