McCain screwed this election by picking the wrong running mate. If he had picked someone with good economic background he would have won this election by a landslide. Instead he went with someone who was more concerned with abortion hoping he would win the right to life vote and the evangelicals. He's a dumbass; plain and simple. I hope he loses by a landslide. He's an idiot. It's no wonder he graduated last in his class.

Wow! Even McCain knows Palin is a moron with absolutely no depth, he can't even bring himself to say "Palin as President."
This is actually quite sad, McCain was indeed a hero once, even a "maverick", but he isn't anymore. Can anyone seriously deny the Palin pick was cynical to the core.
Republicans want to make it about experience, Palin has experience running a town, a state etc. They don't want to make it about intelligence, because even they know, she's stupid.

I was strongly leaning towards Mc Cain until he brought in Palin. I feel he has poor judgement. There were so many other women that are intelligent that he could have choosen. I want a women in office too!
My vote will be with Obama is 50% WHITE and intelligent with good ideas.

Indeed, "conservative" (like "liberal") HAS been redefined.
Based on the last 3 "conservative" Republican presidents (Reagan/Bush41/Bush43), "conservative" has come to mean only one thing - "MASSIVE DEBT".
(Apologies to Ron Paul who actually DOES still stand for something!)
I say "fiscal discipline" as "conservative" is now essentially meaningless.
EVERY 4 years, the mainstream Republican corporate socialist candidate "TALKS" about less spending.
