I created a link and there when it asked me like what reddit to put in, I wrote "youtube". But when I click my link, It doesn´t bring me to my YouTube video, it brings to Reddit. Behind my link stands (self.youtube), but shouldn´t it be just (youtube)??

Also, is it possible to gain alot of views if you are new to Reddit and don´t know anyone?

It has to be on the 'link' tab at the top of the submission page. Put your title in the 'title' field, paste your youtube link in the 'url' field, then put enter the subreddit you want to post to under the 'reddit' field. The reason that it says self.youtube behind your link it because you put 'youtube' in the reddit field, thus it gets posted to the 'youtube' subreddit.

You will gain views if your content is good. That's the whole point of reddit.
