how is it so hard to understand that a 8 in driver is capable of doing 150 db. you do understand what sound pressure is right? thats like saying an 8 year old cant blow up a balloon but an adult can. sound pressure is just that its pressure being built up by use of a cone occilating from ac current. its nothing more than that.

152 can be done with one 8. i have seen an s10 with 4k on one of these 8s pulling crazy numbers. Its all about the box.

I was told my a friend of mine up in Chattown that Sundown's are the bomb and that I had to get my 8's, which I did. I have a 1000 watt Diamond amp pushin' em, but it was turned all the way down during what they called "The Break-in Period". I was told not to turn the amp up for the first few weeks as they "spider" had to slowly stretch in order for these supposed bad boys to boom the way they should. Well, now I'm hearing rattling from the sub on certain types of boom, but not all. not good.

Not much. For production I actually went with a stronger coil former and added a spacer under the frame. So... production are a bit more robust than the prototypes.

This is a Jeep Cherokee Sport - so a mid-size SUV. One SAZ-3500D for power.
