@bben95 channel 1 is not the kids channel! your one of those narrow minded people who think that the 446 mhz band has labelled channels! your a total moron! the pmr 446 band is a completly ungoverned and free licence band, all 8 pmr channels are for everybody you halfwit.
@sparkers2010 a little OTT don't you think? He means channel 1 tends to be used by kids as they just switch on and go.... usually defaulting to channel 1. I switch my radio onto channel 1 and I always get the local kids..bben never said anything about labelled channels.
