  • how much it cost the assembly of such cars ?

  • it probly gets around the same milage the gas geo has a small motor anyway

  • It's true that gas Geos get pretty good mileage (~40), but the electric Geo gets the equivalent of about 55 mpg on the U.S. average mix of electricity (and if you run it off of wind power, like we do, it gets infinity mpg). It's also true that a gas Geo has a small engine, but the electric Geo has an even smaller motor, and it's towing an extra thousand pounds of battery.

  • Nice one guys!

  • Electrics won't be the future as long as politicians exist. We have to do it one car conversion at a time, as you have done. Good job.

  • @lazzer408 I think the biggest factor is money, cost for those batteries, renewing time.. But, I think the zebra battery is interesting... The new high-energy battery made from common salt, ceramics and nickel.

four times more energy like a lead acid battery holding the same weight. this allows a range up to 400 km.image * about 1,000 charging cycles

This is equivalent to the solartaxi covering a distance of 200,000 - 400,000 km.

They are expensive but expect it to go down in price.

  • give more details please!!! i'm gonna guess AC? range-perhaps 50 miles?

  • Actually this is a DC system. Range is about 30 miles.

  • thats crap

  • Very well designed. Thanks!
