Tampa Police Harassing the Occupy Tampa Protesters

wow whats up with cops now days.. the officers should of just left there was no point of staying there and talking with them. the officers was no better then the guys they were talking with and it makes you think are cops really that dumb to keep the fire going after it is about to blow out. officers grow up do your jib and stop trying to play the who got the big balls game you guys are way to old for that.

@Bravo16tango That is one of many reasons why I stopped going to OT. It just became a pissing match between the cops and protesters. Now that they have moved locations it has been much better. The cops still come and "harass" every once in a while but they have drastically slowed down on it, as the protesters are in a private park with permission.

Not only do I drive by OT every day, but I have a clear view of it from my downtown office. You have stuff strewn about everywhere and are ruining the charity ice skating event at CH. Last year, they made over $10,000 for their charity.  This year, they'll likely lose money because of your "movement." To claim that OT is respectful to the police is a joke. Some of your members want to get arrested. I heard that first hand when I was there.

I see no harassment of protesters here. I only see harassment of the officers by the disrespectful protesters yelling at the officers with spit flying, and calling them corrupt and ignorant. What is so hard to understand about "The Park is Closed?"

@tampachessdon We were not in the park, as...it...was...closed. Understand that. There was NO spit flying at all. I respect those who show respect. These officers show and showed absolutely none. And it is harassment when 7 cops come out for having 2 chairs which they cannot cite the law stating there can only be one. I bring up the chairs because this the aftermath of that incident. I can post that video if you would like. Now go back to looking at videos of other occupiers and bash some more.
