he does sing and play well. But the mashup doesn't work for me. The beatbox is cool, but there's a random pause and then it's like a new track right after on the same chords. I don't see the connection. U could put any song into thoose chords, and make a '300 songs mashup' with some beatbox in between. Still wont work :-) IMO

I guess the end was where he mixed the songs but Glee didn't copy him. On Glee Will sang the Singin' in the Rain chorus after each Umbrella verse. Then they followed with the Umbrella chorus.

@BadMoonRising0202 I just watched the German film Four Minutes (Vier Minuten) and the main character was a piano prodigy inmate. Her tour de force show included some of that. Maybe Jaime watched that film, too! ;) But it made much more sense expressively in her performance. I know other pianists must have experimented with using more of the piano in their work, but it's the kind of thing that can feel a little gimmicky, esp if it doesn't sound tuneful.

@jackinabox12 There is none. You just have to listen to it and try it out for yourself, the way he does. It has the same chords repeated over and over and over for the entire song. There's like a total of three chords until it gets to the chord progression in chorus of umbrella. He just varies around rhythm and notes and stuff, you could keep it quite simple though if you wanted. Just try it out and try copy what you here. Go for it! :)
