Well those games are very old and most of the people playing it have played it forever so of course they are very good. Also because the games dont have the high-tech things we are used to we have less help while playing.
Well, what I was thinking about was the movement, which is a lot easier in FF. For instance you can start bhopping directly after a conc jump (something that you can't do in QWTF or TFC). Also the air control is easier, because the conc speed is slower.
Btw, you'd be surprised to see how many newcomers and Snipers there are in TFC.
When you can build up the reaction times to kill a scout flying through the air at like near max speed, grabbing your flag then INSTANTLY flying off again, you will become PRO TF2'er.

Also, at least the game play is balanced. VALVe game creators aren't a bunch of idiots who made a mod. They're more experienced in creating games then some kid who likes to code LUA. And the models are MUCH more realistic in TF2. And the models don't look all the same. Go get a life.

It's not that bad, only Demomen and Soldiers can really spam it. Besides, spam's useless during the first rush (Since medics have free ubers). And you can always build up uber in the spawn if you really need to.
Some of those bugs are on Valve's end, however. Such as the datacache.dll issue that Valve now says that you have to completely uninstall your anti-virus software to fix.
heres a tip from a player to another, dont lay much pipes in one spot+dont lay all cartrdiges in he launcher only to pipes for example 3 pipes, switch to blue ones, reload. at max lay more and repeat

I'd actually compare the learning curves of TF2 and FF like this:
TF2 is a pretty steep slope. FF is a dead drop cliff. It takes at least 6 months to learn the game of FF to the fullest.
