I truly love this--even more now that they tell you what the various words mean. It's beautifully sung without musical accompaniment and shows a great talent throughout. On top of that, it introduces folks to the arabic alphabet and script, which from an esthetic viewpoint is truly beautiful

@ultrameemo well, mosque doesnt mean house of mosquitoes. if you were to actually look around, you'd find that it was sent in a random email (as well as some other things) and spread like wildfire to everyone. The information was incorrect, and you can even find a debunking of it.

If I did not know the nasheed was about the alphabet- I would have thought they it was about something more serious/mature in content. It would have been better if they attached all the letter to Islamic concepts instead of a few - similar to Yusuf Islams version.

For those newly learning the language, however, the nasheed does not give too clear a pronunciation - and is slightly speedy. Very pleasing to the ears though.
