wow according to the statistics I'm a minority round here ;) I almost never ever watch action movies, but this was just great! ok the fight scenes are a point to argue about, might not be to everyones taste, but bale just ruled. any other actor would've failed with so much on screen time. emily watson was great just like sean bean, only taye diggs could've done better.

@moonstruckfaye The white car has a point to it. It's a neutral gray/white shade, a neutral tone, to minimize any sort of emotional reaction anyone might derive from viewing it. It also bears no markings of any kind in order to get rid of the emotional reactions having an item of any 'brand' might cause. Everything is simply made as nothing else is needed of it. Logical, functional, efficient. In more ways than one.

its nearly identical but its about books, ina future wear anything on paper gets burned and the lead character guy montag is a "fireman" and his job is to find and burn books, however he meets a woman who burns herself with the books, but not before handing him one, the story and ending are near the same but for a book that came out in 1951 it still feels like it could have been written yesterday, its only 300 pages so check it out
I love this movie... But I don't like the way the last 10 minutes are basically a great big shoot-out. (Love the epic gun kata battle with whatsisname though) The whole "Brandt was totally my agent all along" and then Preston just shooting everyone seems like it kinda lost the plot a bit. :( :( :(

I don't think it's really fair to compare the Matrix to Equilibrium (in the sense that Matrix had more funding and more star actors in it) but I definitely enjoyed this movie more! Part 2?, anyone knows?

This was better than my first impression from the first two parts, but I can see why it did so bad at the box office. Story was somewhat original, but screenplay was far from it.

Honestly without the fighting it would have been the crappiest movie ive ever seen but with the fighting its just a really crappy movie....plot is horrible the fighting is all it has going for it and thats only 8min out of the 1:45 movie 2/10

It is very 1984's like any others. But the actors have made a very good job I think. After viewed it for a second time I find the "romantisme" is more appearant.

Honestly without the fighting it would have been the crappiest movie ive ever seen but with the fighting its just a really crappy movie....plot is horrible the fighting is all it has going for it and thats only 8min out of the 1:45 movie 2/10
