Kohler Generator VS Portable Generator

Many inaccuracies in this video. A portable generator does not have to be hooked up via extension cords. It can be connected right into your main electrical panel w/ a transfer switch, allowing you to run your major appliances. An 8000-watt standby generator won't power an entire house - it won't power any more appliances than will an 8000-watt portable (which will do 2 furnaces, well pump, fridge, freezer, TV, computers and many lights). You'll need much more power for an entire house.
