@1alien63 Well by the time ECW was replaced by NXT, ECW was well on it's way out; their ratings would get like a 0.7, which is basically "in the gutter" ratings.
In contrast, Smackdown would get about a 1.7 and Raw would get about a 3.4.
But to show you just how bad 0.7 is, Monday Night Football (the show that crushes EVERYTHING else in that same time-slot) averages about a 16.5 in ratings.

ECW may not have been the original ECW we all loved, but it was still a good show and it gave the best wrestling matches in wwe at the times, RAW and SD sucked and ecw gave great matches

Seriously I think that Christian was better treated in ECW than today here in SmackDown
They didn't let him have the WHC at least 3 months despite all the work and sacrifice Christian did for the WWE, what a ungrateful company
