Twin pumps, Twin turbos, she looks like a good running truck. Mine used to lope with TNT, even at high idle. Now that sounded mean!(Beta tunes took that away, along with the dreaded 03/04 TNT timing pop) We'll see what happens when I slap a standalone on my new motor.
I got mine to lope from turning the rail pressure up with a Smarty programmer. Had some guys tell me though that it was hard on the injectors for just light use.

2. If yes, does it have a powerful engine?
3. If yes, 7" chrome stacks are cool.
If you answer yes only to number one, a single not-so-chrome stack is acceptable. If you answer no to both, you have a pickup truck that has no business having a stack on it.
Check your local drag track or truck pulling rules, many state that you must have an upward exiting exhaust do to timing lights and safety officials on the track.

I don't know who makes it. it's a 7 inch ceramic coated i think 36 inches long. I went to the local chrome shack to look for two chrome stacks and they had that one stack just laying there. somebody had ordered two and only took one.
It's a stock cam. I think it's a combo of things that causes it. It only does it with My Bully dog power pup. Can't really explain it. Really I just put it on here bcause people on other sites said commonrails won't lope. Its not "normal" , most times there's something wrong with them. Cams don't make them lope. The lope in gas burners is caused by the overlap time between when the exhaust valve closes and the intake opens. It helps them breath on top end. Not really necessary with turbodiesels

i believe around 7.0 is equal to a 10.99, but that 100mph makes me think you didn't have that great of a launch... i can see 10.9ish out of this truck
I leave with a conservative 25 lbs. of boost. I try not to beat it up to bad. Again, thats with a Diablosport only for tuning. Now I have a Edge EZ and the custom tunes for the Diablo. I think It'll do 6's on fuel, and when I spray it? Maybe mid 6's. I just haven't pushed it.
i doubt mid 6s but high 6s would be VERY good for that truck on that tuning, why not go with smarty tuning? and 25 lbs is probably the max you can do without spinning anyway
One of the local strips is having a diesel day next week, I think I'll tune it on up and push a little harder. I haven't tried a smarty cause it runs pretty good and I saw no need to spend the extra money. Kinda content with the way it runs now.
Yeah, 03's had a problem with cracked injector bodies among other things. I know their not supposed to lope. I think it has to do with pulsing in the fuel rail or something. It runs fine, low 7's in the 1/8th @100mph without my TST or nitrous.
I can't say for sure. I think it's a combo of things. It only does it with my old Power Pup downloader. No other tuner I've tried does it, however. My cousin has an 03 with almost the exact same mods as I do and It don't lope with the same tuner in it. Kinda odd!!
Actually its the cam followers that make them lope. But Yes diesels can lope from a cam. Big cam cummins = orgasm.
