  • Irrespective of Mr. Brown's administrative errors, his ministerial faults, and his incapability to govern, he defames all the armed forces with his lack of respect and ceremony. Bad breeding, Mr. Brown.

  • please, please, please. Put this insane cyclopse out of harm way !!!!!!!!!!!!!, Mr Brown, I wish only the best for you and your family.... It's a shame you can't see (or won't)

  • Brown should withdraw troops from afghanistan and take responsibility instead of blindly following america.

  • sun readers are out of time

  • about time you dick heads grow up

  • The man is a genius. By showing disrespect to the British fallen, he has ensured a large block of Muslim votes. Brilliant.

  • instead of sending a tatty old peice of paper that no one can read i thought it would show more respect for gordon brown to go to wooton bassett and meet the boys off the plane

  • the man simply doesnt give a monkeys.

he looks bored, disinterested and would obviously be off 'saving the world' or fiddling the tractor production stats. He couldnt even be bothered to applaud the Chelsea pensioners.

    The man is an embarrassment.

  • oh seriously all of you.....you fools giving importance to a mere bow of the head. seriously grow up.

good speech. gordon isn't perfect, hell, he probably isn't the best leader we've had at all, but still, to nit pick about him not bowing his head........grow up.

  • The lack of a bow of the head has been duely noted by many people around the country and comments left on many civilian and mitlitary websites alike. Not only will "We remember Them". we will also remember him!

    Disgraceful.

  • Gordon Brown - you look smelly.

  • "Their name liveth for evermore"

  • how come gordon brown barely registered a knod to the fallen, he blinked his eyes turned his head as walked off from the cenotaph today

cameron and clegg knew how to behave and gave a pronounced bow to the fallen soldiers, and every other person, including a string of foreign representatives and other folk in attendance managed to do this, but not gordon brown

    quite unbelieveable!

  • Oh would you stop, you don't care about the fallen, you just want to make a party political issue of these fallen soldiers, will you stop.

  • Andrew, I do hope that is not directed at myself. I have 11 years service in the Army, am not politically minded and do have fallen friends who I remember everyday, not just one Sunday a year.

  • I don't care what service you have, you came on here to make a cheap political point, you should know better.

  • Andrew, I am afraid you could not be further from the truth. I have NO politcal agenda what so ever. What I do have is a great respect for those who have gone before so that political parties have the right to the freedom of speech. I signed up to serve my country, irrespective of who was in power. Thats is the only agenda I have.

  • Gordon Brown should be ashamed. He stepped back after laying a wreath and turned and walked away WHY DID HE NOT BOW HIS HEAD IN RESPECT LIKE EVERY OTHER PERSON WHO LAID A WREATH ON SUNDAY? DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR FROM THE PM!!!

  • R.I.P. comrades, We will Never forget you.. .

Nice speech Gordon You are a true leader. And one who i will support.

  • well said.

  • How can you support a man who showed NO RESPECT for the fallen on Sunday The man is too arrogant to bow his head before walking away !!

  • Wow. Downing Street now approves freedom of speech! WTF? We can actually comment! lol

Forever RIP war veterans. (I bet they'd be rolling in their graves if they knew they wasn't fighting for freedom, but money) =[

  • the world before the wars was revolutionary the one after oppressive and lies. Oh I regret the fact that those men were lost.

  • World World One

  • World war 2 is the war I think he's talking about.

  • People who died in the war?

  • What's rememberance Sunday?

  • The Sunday closest to remembrance day in the UK, dedicated to those who died in WW1 originally, but it has come to be dedicated to all British soldiers who have dies in wars since then too.
