This intro kicks ass. It should have been the only intro ever used for this epic show. It deserves the extra 10 seconds.

I love how perfectly the music leads into the X-Ray light turning on. Also, I like how the light doesn't flicker on, it just cuts on.

i prefer this intro. I actually thought it was just a long take and the original intro was edited down from this one. I'd always wondered who hands jd the x-ray at the end and thought this definitively answered that question. yes I'm obsessive (and crazy).

No, it was due to reaction of fans who didn't want the episodes to last shorter due to longer intro. It was said in the special features of season 1.

The cut away to the title screen doesn't count as another intro, it's a common edit in syndicated TV when they want to fit more commercials. It's not a third intro that the Scrubs producers made, it's just a network cut.

Fans absolutely REVOLTED! They hated this version. I don't think it was SO bad and it did include Janitor. Fans thought it was too long and it just didn't fit.

It doesn't sound as crisp as the other one though

according to wikipedia fans & the studio complained and wanted the old one..i dont know why.shows change intros all the time,and this wasnt that long so i dont see how it could provide THAT much extra time in the show (which was appearently part of the complaint)
