im chicano my ancestory is from mexico and my family is american..my novia is from cuidad chihuahua mexico nd she has dark brown hair but has light skin.i hav friends from the same area of the northern mexican state of chihuahua that are white.others are very dark nd look more indian than spanish ther are exeptions but if ur from north your gonna most likely b meztizo nd hav nativeAND spanish features central mex gunna have alot of spanish features nd deep south mexico have more indian features

Mexican has many races...brown, white, black and even asian. But all are labeled under the unbrella of Mexican, cause Mexican is not a race, it's a culture. Mexican are 75% mixed or mestizo. That is why there are members of the same family that look brown, white and blonde and sometimes black and even asian. All Latin American countries are the same...they also have all races, but some have one or two races that predominate the others. Look it up on Wikipedia if you don't believe me.

It doesn't matter what shade of skin color you have, we all know we have many things in common and mixed blood runs through our veins, so we consider ourselves as one race. I'm Mexican non-indian my ancestors are from Spain and I would not appreciate anyone calling me white!!!I know it's in the census and what not just like the middle easterners but it make no sense!! Just call us brown when we are Hispanic!!because the majority of Hispanic non-indian people are brown tan NOT WHITE like people from britain.And I don't mean i'm against white people or anything thing but most of our skin color is more yellow tan than white lets be real...
