i got email from on facebook said for deaf people and i won and get money. i was like whatever i am not fall for lie, but i have whole email talk. stupid spammers, whatever.
I've gotten scammers on Facebook, claiming they are from a Deaf Charity. It's very disturbing and I think I am going to try to report them to the police. They say, Deaf are getting money, just send your social security number, etc. I am not Deaf, but somehow these scammers have targeted me. It's so terrible!
Many times scammers contact me on Facebook and IM. I immediately can sense that they are trying to get info and money from me. They don't realize but later when they face God they have to give an account for their actions!
Some people target seniors to. my grandmother got a phone call from a guy saying they could direct deposit her pension check into her bank account but they would need her social insurance number and banking information so her check could be sent to them first where they would then deposit it lol. when she told them no thank you and hung up the man phoned her back and said "I'm going to phone the police on you!" and she told him to go ahead and hung up again lol.

I got something like that to on my IM. I closed that after they kept saying it was real. I continued closing the window and not answering.
