  • ??? Why no more vids buddy....

  • Great video buddy. And awesome tank to great job...

  • New UPDATE Please????

  • Absolutely stunning , want to have one like that

  • Nice tank..

  • Great job on the video the buildup at the end was epic.

  • ******

  • How do you arrange your corals to fit so well?

  • How many lb of live rock do you have there?

Are there hard corals in there?

    Is it all soft coral?

My tank looks really strange because when I buy soft corals, they come on little pieces of rock, are all of ur corals built on the main base rock or rock which the corals came with?

    Thanks!

  • when you rchange ur water.. do you liike put everything out it? like the fishes etc. ..

  • Are you on facebook ?

  • Wow...awesome camera work and nice tank

  • Wow

  • cant i place below 1 feet?

  • Does your Copper-banded ever bother the corals?

  • @TheFishTeen nope, but I did get rid of a coco worm before introducing the copperband

  • my tank os 4ftX2 ft height X 1.5 feet depth I have 3 150 watt mh one 14K one 20K with 2 VHO actinic blue can i plase acroporas anywhere in my tank?

  • @tonytennis I think it's enough light, just put it near the top of your tank...

  • Ganzel, do you perform your water changes from the sump? I am apprehensive to put coral close to the top as you have done due to the brief time they will be out of water when doing a water change.

  • @jcarlilesiu I do it from the sump and from the main tank, corals can last at least half an hour without water covering them totally. Just close your lights if you have big metal halide. Softies and lps cope better with lack of water than sps... My hydno burnt a bit and the top out of water did died... So be careful...

  • @ganael can you make an update please?

  • can i keep acroporas 16 inch below water level? ive 20k mh mounted above 10 inchs from the level. my tank lengh is 48 inch height 24 inch depth 18 inch ive 2 mh 150 watt with 2 actinic blue.

  • Hello. Do u know how to kill red algea?

  • @sdinh1985 is it red slime algae its actually cyanobacteria it comes to a tank due to DOC. make sure your skimmer is working fine or nor and check water flow also.

  • dear ganzel my tomato clown sometimes goes inside my hammer coral and my jewel coral is it harmful for the coral?

  • @tonytennis it shoud do no harm, just make sure the hammer's heads don't shrink too much... My orange clowns have been living in my frogspawn for more than a year without any signs of damage...

    Ganzel

  • @ganael heyy thanks for your reply i recently bought a clove polyp and a jewel coral how do i take care of it? my nitrate is undetectable by API Kit ph 8.1 KH 10 calcium 480 mag 1500 approxx

  • @ganael thanks for your reply does clown harm jewel corals?

  • @ganael my small tomato clown is hosting in jewel coral can it kill the coral?

  • @tonytennis I'm not really sure what you mean by jewel coral, never heard of it... Is it another name for hammerhead or frogspawn? or is it some kind of goniopora?

  • beautiful tank, well done...

  • Any chance you could tell me the additives that you use please? great video!

  • @sounduser I use seachem calcium, alk builder, kalk, strontium, magnesium powders. I dose some lugol iodine too. I use coralife salt. Thanks !

  • @ganael what about marine snow or phytoplankton???

  • @sounduser I used them for a year and stopped for the 2nd year, I did not see any difference. I've been told the phytoplankton we buy from reefshops is almost always dead or rotten... I used marine snow and coral snow and never seen a visible improvement in corals color or growth. I honestly think you can feed your corals once in a while with some powder food and they will be more than ok. Parameter stability is the most important thing for your tank to thrive...

  • @ganzel---Do u glue up ur corals on the back glasspane? How are ur SPS growing under 20000k lights.?.coz i find mine is growing pretty slow under 20000kelvin MHs...

  • what should i do to get them down

  • @finger11yo those are ok values, just let it go a bit down naturally, just stop adding calcium/kalk and alk for a bit. But really, there is nothing to panic about with those numbers...

  • what should i do to get them down

  • @finger11yo let it go down naturally, those values are nothing to stress about...

  • my caclium and alk are high calcium is at 495 and the dkh is 11

  • What's music called buddy, I would like to get it

  • @dm002a8686 Band : Misteur Valaire / Song : Gordon Bombay

  • Truly amazing buddy, keep updates coming,

One of the best tanks on YouTube ,

  • i love all your videos. do you mind me asking what kind of camera and video editing software you are using??

  • @RealReef7 Sony Ex1 + Canon T2i (18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, 50mm f/1.8). Adobe premiere CS5 to edit.

  • I really miss ur elegance bro.... :(

  • Lv it Ganzel....happy holidays

  • can i use lab grage lugols solution for iodine to save some money? is it safe?

  • @tonytennis I have never tried it, I don't want to tell you something wrong, I'd research it on reefcentral's forum first.

    Cheers,

    Ganzel

  • how is red sea and bubble magnus skimmers?

  • @tonytennis No clue, but skimmer is a big part of your system and you should buy a well know/established brand. Again, reefcentral's reviews are your friends !

    Ganzel

  • @ganael can only phosphate cause algae?

  • @ganael i have a 6 gallon nano cube thats three months

old do you think i could put some acropora and birdsnest in it?i also really like your aquarium! :)

  • @RaffleReefer10 6 gallons nanos and accros or birdnest are not a really good idea in my opinion, they are in the hardest corals to keep. I'd start with some zoos, or some GSP, or some xenia and make it live for more than a year before I'd try to put a sps piece.

  • dear ganzel can i trust on reef octopus skimmer for my reef tank? how r they?

  • @tonytennis hey Tony, I've never tried them, I would go on reefcentral or reefkeeping forums and take a look at comments on the specific unit you want to buy. I know Bubble King and Deltec are making good ones. Mine (reeflo) is good buy noisy.

  • @ganael Dear Ganzel can i use lab grade calcium hydroxide to buffer alkalinity and calcium? its tough to get the branded ones here. ive 2.5 alkalinity can i raise it tii 3.5 by dosing sodium by carbonate and afterwards maintain with kalkwassser?

  • @tonytennis I've heard people doing this, again, look on reefcentral forum for more infos on the subject. I only use certified reef chemicals so I don't have to bother with this. It's a bit more expensive but keeps my mind at peace ;)

    Ganzel

  • @ganael my nitrate level is 0 but still i am having hair algae now im really upset it ruins my tank beauty

  • @ganael my nitrate level is 0 but still i am having hair algae now im really upset it ruins my tank beauty

  • WoW love your tank

  • One of the best videos I've ever had the pleasure of viewing on YouTube! Thank you for sharing this...gorgeous tank. :)

  • First off being a reefer myself this tank is MAZING!! i do have some questions what are the lights in the begining where do you place your powerheads and how often do u feed your corals?

    THANKS!

  • @GraffitiCraft the lights in the beginning are just my hamilton 400 watts 14 000 k warming up. They start yellow-green (8000k-10000k) and than switch to blue-ish (20000k) to then stabilize around white at 14000k. They are lit by lumatek digital ballasts. The powerheads info are in my "info" section just below the video itself. I feed my corals twice a week, 1x daytime 1x nighttime, a mix of reefroids, cyclopeez and phyto/zoo powder.

    Cheers

    Ganzel

  • @GraffitiCraft And first of all what you see are T-5 neons, on left 2x36' actinic and on the right 1x36' colormax purple and 1x36' actinic.

  • beautyfull! as always ;)

  • @josee1013 Thank you Josee, I have the video skills but you are definitely the one with the reef skillz, what a nice set up you have!

    Ganzel

  • Great vid nice tank

  • Who plays this song?

  • @JCTReefer : Misteur Valaire : Gordon Bombay

  • @ganael I appreciate it man. Very nice tank by the way. If u like that, u might like The Avalanches. Love the video also. Genius! Gives us all something to strive for. Thanks for the reply.

  • De toute beauté. Sérieux ton plus beau film à ce jour. En HD c'est incroyable. Je met le lien sur reefaction.

  • The tank looks great man!!

Why did you switch to softies from SPS dominated? Pests?

  • @animalmastermtd pests, calcium overdose, lack of time...

  • @ganael That's what I thought. You still manage to make the tank look good though :D

  • i really like how you make your videos

  • very nice!!!
