  • THis is amazing.

  • What year it took place? And I wish to find this footage in high quality resolution! It's amazing! Martial arts magic!

  • watch?v=FhAWWg8pnqg

  • that guy in the black has a crazy hair cut!

  • @2blahornot2blah rockin the crazy anime hair

  • Damn that is cool, i appreciate they slow some stuff down, the guy with the 3 sectional jumps like 5 feet in the air

  • damn is there like, a hq version of this somewhere? lol ive seen a couple others but its the exact same ;o;

  • it really would have been nice if you put up the whole video... I'm assuming you cut it off to make it look more real since it would be obvious that it's choreographed if they stopped and bowed at the end >_>

  • Gotta love old school martial art sound effects.

  • wow

  • im pretty sure this is fake...theyre real martial artists but its staged

  • Of course it's staged, they're competing in a performance sport ... they are getting judged on form, like gymnasts

  • Really neat exhibition. Fast and well choreographed. That's right: choreographed. I think you should retitle this, as sparring implies that it was not staged.

  • fuckin awsome

  • i love how they have their turns in attacks, like the dodging and the repeated attacking, though don't like how at the end when bo staff is kinda waiting for the kick, so it makes the thing look fake

  • 表演很精彩. 出手不留力,艺高人胆大, 棍人合一.

  • Does anybody have the full fight? I've never seen more than this but it seems to be cut short. I'm assuming of course but if anyone could help I'd appreciate it

  • I know the guy in black. Master Jingeng Li. He is still that awesome, and the BEST teacher you could find. Google him.

  • At first I thought it was a real fight and was kind of impressed but pretty soon it was clear that it was staged.

What tipped me off was the sequences where one fighter performs the same strike many times while the other performs the same block.

  • The technique is very close to the real fight if you get hit from those weapons on that speed you'll have big damage. I Can't explain it, if you do some wushu check the staff and 3 section or try to use them. And wright us about your experience.

  • Well, you could do some damage with the three sectioned staff but the staff used in Wushu - dude you can't hurt anyone with it. When I did wushu and practiced these sparring sets, nobody would get hurt by being accidentally whacked with the staff

  • but very impresiv. Is the best. I dont think any other martial art can bit that

  • after all that... a kick to the back

  • It dosn't get much better than this does it?

  • holy shit that was tight

  • (( (()) (()) ][_ STUFF

  • That is so awesome. I wish I had that much practice. I know its staged but man thats good.

  • best sound effects ever

  • Freaking epic...

  • no school like the old school.

  • wow great reflexes, athletiscism, forma nd choreography. Damn dangeorus and great to watch. awesome.

  • dude they have trained to the point where their reflexes became legend-like..

  • a good pattern demonstration, very fast

  • just a further hint to people who still don't get what this clip is about: GREAT CHOREOGRAPHY.

  • haha I would defently say GREAT lol those boys defently put some time into that one!!

  • of course its planned out.. its called a two man FORM. The purpose of them is to give you experience with weapons in various situations. of course they wouldn't actually FIGHT withthe weapons. they'd kill each other. think about it. its not legal in most countries to fight to the death in competition.

  • joeattack123, and a few of you other nerds.

Don't be so ignorant towards this great clip !

Of course they are sparring, and they've probably practiced over and over ... to get this performance down pack, but it doesn't mean they couldn't accidentally slip, make a mistake, and seriously injure the opponent.

Those are real weapons, not child-proof toys !

  • i woulda been hit in the first or second strike o.o

  • I don't know, some of these guys train with those weapons since birth, so you probably could do this, unchoreographed. Hah, saw it on limewire too, loved that shit.

  • i wonder how many people thought "i can do this" and killed themselves.. (or their friend(s)).

  • lmao lot of people don't appreciate the difficulty in fight choreography. I've been stabbed in the temple before now during a choreographed fight :p So I do imagine the number ain't small :)

  • Very impressive video, I first saw it on Limewire when I was looking for karate and kung fu videos yeeeeeeeears ago, since then I've been impressed as hell at this video. It's choreographed so well it's taken me this long to realise for sure that it was. I agree to everyone who acts like it involves no skill, it's amazingly well done, especially to be performed at the speed, and live!! I must find out who these people are, does anybody know?

  • One of the is Wu Kin Keung who was a co-star in Shaolin Temple with Jet Li. There were a few of his videos on youtube as well.

  • its choreographed, so what to be able to do anything at that speed takes amazing amounts of skill

  • Choreographed, but still cool.

  • the special effects ruins it...

  • ccoooooool

  • Amazing. Why bother with the years of weapons training and hub-up if he could have just kicked him in the first place?

  • Then the judges of the tournament wouldn't have gave them first place you ignoramis

  • Well, if he knew you were going to kick him, he would've probably blocked it. Just look at how they're fighting.

If the competition is all about smashing each other with staffs, then the other guy wouldn't expect getting kicked in the back.

  • This is definitely a performance, not an actual sparring match.

  • people keep complaining that its choreographed... they are NOT fighting against each other damnit they are a TEAM... they get RATED by judges for how cool it looks...

  • Yeah,.. i thikn some people watched too many movies and think fights to the deeeath are still in everyday life -.-

    These guys are legendary..

  • Word.

  • its choero graphed, its a 'fighting form' they use in comps. doesnt mean they cant do it for real though. but still look at it, one fk up den UR fked up :P nevertheless, they handled it well.

  • It's entertaing. That's all that matters. If you don't like the way it's done, that's your problem. Save your nagging for the forums.

  • choreographed? yes. One slip and someone gets really hurt or killed? Yes.

  • Choreographed, or my name is mud.

  • sup mud

  • so wat they are still awesome with the weapons!

  • that was crazy!!

  • wow.

you're pathetic if you think the only way to spar is if you have an obsene amount of protection. Sparring was never ment to have protection. Fighting never has any protection. All true martial arts do not believe in "protection". Self control should be your only protection. Don't try to act like you know what you're talking about when you can't even live without even a chest protector.

  • HAHA! uhhhh NO! the guy who posted it says its choreographed dufis. Anyway, i don't look around youtube and respond to all the idiotic comments i see... just the idiotic ones that are incredibly hypocritical. In other words it might just be YOU who doesn't know what they're talking about

  • If u dont see any protection of any kind in a sparring match, then its choreograph. I dont think there are alot of real sparring w/ weapon(or even none). Mostly with hand and feet contact.

  • Choreographed or not They made it look Real and their Speed is Amazing Very good Stuff !

  • and of course it slow motion that is posible with an computer ...

  • is this realy happend? are this tournements realy giving in real world? :O

  • Of Course its choreographed, you silly new-jacks-noobs

this was performed at the All China Games, like it says on the description!! dont comment on my videos without reading the descriptions first.

  • Okay aparently many of these posters don't know anything. yes it's choreographed, it's a well known set. they are at a tournement or show of some kind. there not jumping slow they used whats called slow motion in the editing. however they did mostlikly go that fast and that high in the jumps. an excellent performance and good performers.

  • holy fuck it looks so choreographed at first but i think its a proper genuine fight

  • its obviously choreographed but they made it look real

  • fuck

  • yo man how did the video of me with the 3 section staff get on youtube.. aint i the bomb

  • omg this vid is soo cool this guys are amazing even if its put to gether!

  • sad martial arts today are not like this anymore specially american

  • wow, howd they jump so slowly like that?

  • O.o

  • 5 for video, 1 for the cheesy dubbed sound effects :P

  • even if it was choregrafied, it's still amazing and everybody can't do this.

  • This is amazing.

  • Very cool! They must have practiced for a long time to do all that and not get hurt!
