I love rory gallagher so much, if I'm depressed i grab my i-pod and ear phones and listen to his songs,listen to the words and the insane voice and guitar as well as the rest of the group and I feel as though he"s singing to me, or he knows true feelings of ones soul. Saw him twice, my opinion is he's the greatest musician ever and its sad because in interviews he says when he's in his 80's he's still going to be playing. What a loss. Thanks to all of you that post his videos for us to enjoy.

Rory like every other great player had their own sound and technique, that's what make's a great individual player. Rory loved the interaction with the crowd, not to many great's ever allowed the crowds to get to close, Rory loved the crowd up close, he seemed to have no fear of the crowd joining him on stage or getting down amongst them as many of his vid clips show. I think the more the crowd joined in the better Rory performed.

Stevie could create sounds with his guitar like nobody on the planet, only one who did something similar before him was Jimi Hendrix and nobody else. Stevie's sound was 100% original, raw, big and unique. Rory's sound was great, but nothing compared to Stevie's. Stevie rocked the guitar like nobody before him and till this day there hasn't been such a talented guitar master like him!
