strive4impact, I thank you for the video, it was nice to remember my travel there. and I add for the ones thinking to go there, that I went to Paraguay for 1 day, a total waste of time, price of mobile phones, perfume and so on are higher than in brazil. I went to itaipu dam and it is quite cheap, it worth it. I did not saw iguacu from argentinian side and i regret a lot. Better to do iguacu from both countries. I did also macuco safari........AMAZING,with the boat you go close to waterfalls!!!!

@LILCISCO1604 We were already in Argentina, so it cost the flight round trip to/from Buenos Aires (about $150 per person) and our hotel room (about $60/night), which slept 3 people.
You should definitely go. was/is an amazing place!
@hummertrish Thanks Trish! We actually do have a bunch of travel videos... just go youtube dot com / strive4impact and you'll see our channel with all of our travel (and other) videos.
@hummertrish Happy to help! Nope... we didn't do the glacier there... we did go to glaciers on Cotopaxi in Ecuador... HIGHLY recommended. But in Argentina... DEFINITELY visit the wine country if you can. It is an AWESOME 2-4 day trip. watch?v=I_mfZ3k3_So (put youtube dot com / in front of that and you'll see our Mendoza video.
@hummertrish We did. And if you speak Spanish, you'll be even better off. We speak Spanish now, but didn't when we went in 2008 and got around just fine. Flew from Buenos Aires up there for 4 days and back to Buenos Aires. Hope you have a really great time! We sure did. When are you going?
We went in August 2009. There was so much water that Isla San Martin was closed to visitors. We expect to go again this year to take in the island AND the boat ride, and visit the Brazilian side.
Very nice video! I born in Puerto Iguazú and is great to know that you liked this little part of the world. I live in Buenos Aires because of my job and i love to return every summer...
I think we go every two or three years, or when the river grows because of rain, we went in february this year, there were more tourists than other years... would you like to return?
I would love to work there some day, but it will take a lot
I would definitely love to return to the falls. We'd like to come back in 2009 or 2010. Argentina definitely seems to be getting more tourists in general, so that may be part of the reason for more tourists at the falls.
Thanks for your compliments on the video, by the way!

Viva Argentina y Brasil !

@momjade Nice!
Definitely look into visas before going... Brazil has some interesting visa processes in response to the changing Visa policies of the US.

heber1978 3 years ago
We did love it there. Puerto Iguazu is a very neat little town and the falls were awesome!
Being that you were born in Puerto Iguazu, what would you say is the best thing about it?
Thanks!
Jonathan
strive4impact 3 years ago
Well, maybe the peace that is just breathed in there. So diferent that the big city.
If you 2 come back to the falls, you have to go to "garganta del diablo" at night whit full moon ;) You'll not believe that show.
Best regards!
Heber
heber1978 3 years ago
It really si much different there than Buenos Aires.
Are there good restuarants that we should try in Puerto Iguazu?
The full moon tour would be absolutely incredible and sounds awesome! Thank-you for the recommendation!
