So your Joomla site got hacked, now what?

It can be hell.. but after a while you don't care anymore,

as long you make a back up of your web pages.

I started Joomla , somehow they got in ..and added a bunch of pharmaceutical links, well since I don't need Viagra yet, I deleted them ,

Q: what would be the best thing to do?

should I hire (pay) an anti-hacker system ?

Actually... this video "presumes" lots of things.

To reset your password, just use the phpmyadmin and change the password right in there... but use the "MD5" when you enter the new password.

Also, if you are hosting on a good host with cpanel, then just roll back to a previous backup.

One more thing, make sure you change your hosting passwords also.

The best way is to have a full backup from your cpanel and than to restore all page with joomla script...
