sure in our first year we bragged about how much better our support was, but now we just enjoy it rather than compare it to other teams.

The Toronto Lynx were not run professionally. It was run by a rich man who did it as a hobbie. He didn't care about the sport or the team. They didn't have a proper stadium, didn't get to train the warm weather during the pre-season, were not part of MLS, didn't have any constant TV of Radio rights, no marketing etc.. TFC is run professionally, with it's own stadium by MLSE. They have money, go after good players, market well, are on TV and get supported because of that.
