Source? Makoto and Ibuki (by Capcom canon) would still be (barely) teenage girls at the time SF4 took place. Ibuki was only about 16-18 years old during SF3. Same with Makoto. I beleive one of these characters has to be CHARLIE from SFA. Charlie fits in the connection between Guile and Abel. And if Gouken can survive Akuma, surely it's possible for Charlie to survive M. Bison.

At the Capcom Fight Club in LA where people got to play SSF4, s-kill said that if you follow the rumors online than you pretty much know who the rest of the cast is...so yeah.

That's not what Street Fighter is about. It's all about the gameplay, and it's great to see more characters from the past. I like how you can choose your Ultra combo like in Street Fighter 3, makes me even more stoked to play SSF4.

It looks very impressive so far, I just hope that I feel the same way when I actually get to play the game.

The only characters I've ever found interesting was Gouken because they actually changed up that lame spin kick attack into something interesting. Google "Gill Street Fighter" and the first photo that pops up is a comparison to a character he's based on. The most original version of Street Fighter imo is SF3rdStrike, except for the character Sean.

he was never combo heavy, but he had more then 2 combos. And without the bites hes missing a big part of his game(honda doesnt have alot of combos but the ochio makes up for it). ANd with the ultra system being new to the series, its fuckin gay that not every character takes advantage of it(blanka isnt the only one, most of the cast cant combo it). So no dont change him, but u need to refine the design, why the fuck does balrog still punish the ball on hit after 20 years of blanka?
