Did anyone else have trouble keeping up with even *reading* the notes as the audio was playing? :) Maybe it was just me. Here's to passing my 100s and getting as fast as Mark Kislingbury!
That is absolutely mind blowing. When I was going through court reporting school in Phoenix, AZ the theory I learned was Sten-Ed. As I'm sure you're aware, Sten-Ed greatly lacks phrases and brief forms. The school I attended has since switched to your theory and when summer semester rolls around, I'm going back to theory class after almost eight years to learn your theory. If I were to write that clip strictly Sten-Ed my fingers would be blur! What speed were you writing in this clip?
@TheJenn85345 I just transcribed the first ten seconds from "Without.." to "honored with this", and it's 41 words in exactly 10 seconds. So that's 246wpm of DENSE literary. The NCRA speed contest Literary is 220wpm, just for comparison. Hope that helps! - Mark
I would recommend that you work on writing with rhythm, with a consistent downward force, and minimal motion. You probably should try that at, say, 90wpm, something very easy. It's like a tennis player practicing proper stroke form in slow motion.
What is the writer you are using? I have been told by my instructor at school that my stroking is staccato. I am using a Elan Cybra student writer and am at 140 wpm. When I am on my laptop I find there is no wasted motion and I am real smooth. Mark, please advise.

Wow! I'm so impressed! I can't wait to type as fast as you, but it seems impossible :/
I'm currently in 150-170.

@mellymell0810 You can do it, if you work hard on writing short, and then practice at high speeds to make your fingers fast! - Mark
