Boycott means something different than weekly protests, it means, by definition, constant restrain from using something which you can't morally or politically not accept. This is NOT a boycott, it is a protest. I'm with you at the protest, but please use the right terminology.

I would never go against an individual like this (only the lowest form of people do that- there are ways to handle those problems - communication and coming to the meeting of the minds) but changing the layout of what they created for the people. It is just controlling - baiting and switching, even though we don't pay. I stopped watching television because of all the junk they have on it and that they force on people.

I am tired of those huge changes, there are other Video sites that can still have more open pages and comments are visible,so the friendships and subscribers...You tube soon will be a ghost town if the apply this layout-I am afraid..Now a few people are here so I noticed...Thank you...Suzanna

I am against people stealing people's work, but those singers, musicians, actors/actresses are living very extravagant, wealthy lives because of us. It sure would not hurt them to give something for free. Naturally you wouldn't want someone to copy their work and profit from it, but no one is profiting from there work. The advertisers are the ones where they make the money. YouTube/Google is good - it is they just should NOT change it.

@Skyheartstar777 @ I do not like people who take other people work, but there is a way we can ask for permission to let us use their musical composition in our videos. If they agree then it is only a promotional work for them on my part. Attaching their link and copyrights to my video and that is a okay. I am here for enjoyment not money, never took a penny from what I have done.

This has something to do with SOPA.

The SOPA stands for"Stop Online Piracy Act"- Now they are in Congress trying to pass the Bill. When this comes to life we will have no music to use as this music mostly has been taken from those original singers or musicians. Even when you buy the music still will be consider as someone else music and here is the contradiction because not all of us musicians.

To whom it my concern

The layout is not good it has many errors. It is hard to navigate; Error after error when posting comments under the video. The process in sending comments is slow as one has to try to post again until the program let you do it. The background is ugly, i mean this is the most ugly color you used to implement in you tube site, not even resembles the beauty of Panda!!

Wrong colors; please let us use some individual graphics so we retain our own individuality. We are human here not a sheep that will be all dressed the same. Please listen to people voices we are protesting against this New Panda Colors. They are terribly ugly. We want some room for making our choice please. The rest we can live with as with time we will learn to adapt the new Video manager etc...But please let us use the layout with colors. Thank you for the consideration.

@LanaV6 @ All is hidden on my site and many people are getting involved and protesting..The Boycott is spreading. I have also wrote a note to You Tube designer about the ugly design and told them to give people room to choose the graphic as we are all different not like sheep running around with no head on the shoulders.

@LanaV6 @ I have been off today& still tomorrow, my account is black. I have to write some replies and make more videos for the coming days. We need videos for boycott.It is going to be a long fight! Unless they force us to use the ugliness. Guaranteed no videos will be made as it use to be .Many already declared that they will not make videos, me either. Perhaps be a visitor only but not active one. The views have dropped rapidly since the implemented changes.:o)

@Susanna129 Well, I noticed a lot of people already have deleted their accounts. And a lot say they will soon. I will be one of them. There are other sites like this out there. And if I have to, I will leave here and join one of those. Nothing will be like the old YT. I made a lot of friends here. And there are a lot of awesome vid's as well. But, with time, the other sites will get just as awesome. I use to get happy to get on YT. Now it is like hmmm should I go on now? lol It is not the same.

@LanaV6 @ Dear Lana, to be frank and honest I signed to two different sites and those already have those restrictions in place..Gooziedotcom is not good also the Fatal Error Network I was there and deleted as it is not supported..So do not go yet until you sure know the other sites..I would not go, as I am with Vimeo and Daily Motion..You can join but not third party music is allowed there either. Nothing will be the same...:o)
