  • This reminds me of my dead Betta fish, Spiker. He died in late June or early July.He was very happy and I always tried to give him as much space as he needed. Finally, Spiker was swimming upside down and staying there. He would lay on his side and stay there. I put him in another clean, fresh, bowl with no decorations in it. After 45 minutes or so.... Spiker died. He was great. This makes me cry. I put little Spiker in a box and wrote on it. I had already put him in the ground at this time so i

  • so sad :(

  • Wow, this is some sad stuff... That music makes me wanna cry. Sorry about you fish...

  • hope you weren't feeding it goldfish. as a baby, lionfish can't eat goldfish. its high in fat and low in nutrition. and the goldfish has a big head so the little lions can choke on it.

  • can i pet him?

  • I know that the Lionfish are a threat and stuffs but i don't think killing them or eating them is a good solution.

  • after its dead can u still get stung

  • @JDCredible No, the venom detoxifies in about an hour. Faster, if you put them on ice.

  • did u eat it

  • @1shot3killsH3

In the United states of China, we make tasty soups of these creatures.

I urge ya'll to have it someday.(:

  • a lionfish is about £80 or $150 in some shops around the world so its quiet expensive when they die or go wrong. Lionfish and other fish have their cons and pros but when perfect nthing can be made better.

  • So sorry. My lionfish died the other day. People are so rude on here. I guess they think they're cool when they hurt other's feelings... Lionfish are amazing, sorry yours died :(

  • Nice man I do the same for my fish

  • That's cute that you would make a video for your Lion Fish. REST IN PEACE HEAR HEAR!! :d

  • Kinda just givin this a shot, I don't think green chromis and lionfish work well. I had one in my tank and the lion only lived one day, and I noticed the chromis antagonizing/harassing him. I'm glad my grouper ate that damn thing now hahaha.

  • A lionfish can be deadly, only if you're allergic to it though. In general, it's similar to a bee sting. Yours is beautiful. How long do they normally live? I've been considering a lionfish, except one of the dwarf kind.

  • for those people that say "its just an animal go buy another one" would you like that one day you die and youre mom comes and says "oh its ok he was a kid, ill go and adopt one" noooo of course not!!!!!

  • man how could you let this awesome animal die?? i dont give a fuck what other people say "oh its just a dumm animal" fuck you all they live too, and yeah how could you let this animal die, im getting one in august and i will take care of him i swear, but anyway good luck try again XD

  • its just a fish u can just go to the fish shop and get a new one so get over it sorry but its true

  • its just a fish u can just go to the fish shop and get a new one so get over it

  • @William96587 twat

  • poorthng....

  • him and his fish were very sexually intimate :(

  • awhh ]:

  • sorry, but it is a fish get over it

  • he looked cool :) R.I.P !

  • Lionfish are a horrible, invasive species. They are to the ocean as Mexicans are to the United States.

  • @toddthecat bitch u wish u fucking faget u only talk shit over the internet because if u said it to our face we will break that shit

  • @urwack123 - Shut up border hopper. I deal with your kind all the time.

  • @toddthecat bitch u wish i was a border hopper and i woop stupid ass white ppl every day bcuz yall fuckers think yall are hard but the truth is yall aint shit and yall no it fagets

  • @urwack123 - Ok dude. Don't spend anytime getting an education though. We wouldn't want to see you be successful in anyway. Keep pulling unemployment, food stamps, and welfare, all of which is so kindly contributed to by white people. I'd be amazed if you can even understand what I just wrote...

  • @toddthecat haha the funny thing is i dont get food stampes walfare and all that other shit the black ppl get and if u didnt no my whole family has gone to collage and im about to graduate so unlike u im getting an education and i got money so it reallt sucks to be u not me dumbass

  • @urwack123 yeah you are really educated. Just so you know you fucked up spelling on 'stampes, walfare, didn't (but my blackberry won't let me spell it wrong like your sdumbass) , no, collage, I'm (again blackberry), reallt'. I won't even start with the fact that you don't know what punctuation is. You know, periods and commas and shit.

  • @toddthecat ur a fucken dumbass who gives a shit about all that other shit fucken white trash go to sleep in ur trailer u poor bastered and get a life

  • awh.. poor thing... uhhh.. if you dont mind my asking.. arent lionfish like 800$?

  • @urmomschesthair1 no there about 30 to 100 dollars

  • @urwack123 damn... well i was wrong.. lmao.. but whatever, at least it wasnt as bad as i thought.. :) im still sorry it died tho.. :(

  • @urwack123 yea but thats life

  • I feel you. brahh. I had a puffer named melvin that died on me....

  • LOL stupid lionfish. i eat them for dinner all the time. whenever i go out exploring a reef i always see em and then i spear them and eat them. theyre wiping out all the actual indiginous species

  • Dude, I hope you choke on the next one.

  • @Hidekowin Why? He's doing his part to preserve local ecosystems. Lionfish are an invasive species and are ruining many reef systems with their overpopulation where they don't belong

  • @Weazell Who gives a shit!

  • @Weazell reason being is people couldn't take care of their lion so they dumped them back in the ocean. Not the lion fishes fault if they started to grow and live their life. its all nature. idiots just need to learn to take care of their fish.

  • @Hidekowin, as weazell says, i'm only doing my part to help out with our reefs.. ONE lionfish alone does immense damage.. and theyre everywhere here in palm beach florida. i dont kill any other kind of fish (=

  • NO MAN! it's true they actually are insanely common and are taking over the other species! there populations need to be controlled.

  • @URmothersLOVER1 you're a fuckin' asshole

  • sorry for your loss

  • that sucks =\ how long did u have him/her for?

  • so did u get another lionfish. or would it be to painful

  • aww. fishy's stuck in a tank

  • very cute amd i now what feels if fish like that dies. and hybridruffians! if animals dint have soul how do they live? animal is same than human but other model if u kill animal just think what it feels if some1 giant comes and kills you same style! but i had to sucribe!

  • i lost quite a few lionfishes too, seems to be gill disease, cloudy eyes..but also could be inadequate air supply for the aquaarium

  • animals have no souls.

    especially fish

  • neither do people ya clown

  • people are animals

  • poster's not even replied to some comments on here!?!

  • gay

  • saddddddddddddd. i hate losing fish

  • How old was he when he died, can I ask?

  • I caught one of those, But mines bigger

  • hmmm, I wonder, do you have a girlfriend?

  • i wonder DANCEDANCEREVOLUTION are you gay? Or do you spend time on the dance floor with some bridge troll/ork that you call your gf?

  • hahaha ur calling him gay even though ur name is dancedancerevolution...but i agree this is pretty gay.

  • Being sad because you lose an animal is really normal.

Sad... Good luch with your loss...

  • seriously

  • wow some crazy shit or what

  • Don't flush it, I don't think it would fit.

  • poor lion fish

  • Sorry to hear my lionfish died afew months ago for some reason. it was the only fish i had ever lost

  • oke i have to admit it is verry sad but a lionfish is dangerous ones you get bitten you get poisen and i am afraid cuzz i live in st.maarten and on my favorit beach they are swimming:)

  • Aw! Its cute that you made a video in memory of your beautiful fish. Sorry it happened. :(

Oh, what is the name of the music you used for this video? Its very good!

  • aw . he;s in peace now.

  • Beautifal , elegant, yet deadly and fatal

    sorry for your loss

  • @Subzero7899x neither deadly or fatal...hurts like a bitch but it is in no way life threatening. nothing personal but people need to research shit like this. like the folks who bitch at divers for killing them in the carribean and southeast US...totally cool in a tank or their home waters but here, they are invasive and should be killed when seen. beautiful fish and id like to have on in a tank but if i see one in the ocean im shooting it(if i cant catch it for a tank first)

  • SORRY

  • Im very Sorry. that was uniue pet that you would get. :3 This lionfish is so cute. i could see it's color and beatuiful fins, Good video. Good memory of your beloved pet. :)

  • im soo happy

  • Sorry about that. I have my self a dwarf lionfish, just love him. Have u figured out why it died? Did u feed him with what? Have ever considered using a SKIMMER ?

  • Rest in peace

It's funny how you can get so close to an animal like a fish :]

  • all my 5 lionfishes died WAAAAAAAAAA :(

  • ur just a bitch

  • i was truying to save them asshole, blame the fucking petshop,

they were put all together in the same little tank, and were fed once every 2 weeks ,they died in my tank ..:( they were alredy sick and heak, but i tried, i did my best, i paid 300 $ it wasn't enough, and now u call me a bitch????

  • =( crying me thats

    right

  • o man iknow how much u loved him i fell so sad of all the fish i lost ps he was nice

  • i had a real sweet 1 about 5-7 inches...then i had a prob with ich and my lion and my long horn cow fish died=[

  • yeah. i can see you had diatoms still. these guys are hardy but a spike probably happened. Sorry to hear about the fish tho. Good luck.

  • but all the outher fish servived, all 5 of them? the pics and vids were takin the day after i got him and then i got more fish, and then about a month later he died

  • @Spitz233 how much is a lionfish

  • could be many a thing but most probably was the feeder fish, mine actually dies after a stress out due to my xlarge clownfish took his prawn one day and he just stopped eating after that. he was bout the same size. its always possible u had aome sort of spike, did u have the fish long? chances are it may not have acclimated fully and the chromis well their adapted to taking small amounts of toxins when cycling but eventualy if theyve been in toxic water they will die

  • damn, that sucks. you had a really nice lionfish

  • how about u shut the fuck up u lil bitch. ill kick your fucking ass

  • fuck you punk ass bitch get caped mother fucker

  • r u speaking to me ?????

  • oh sorry i clicked on the wrong reply was meant for this ass hole on here sorry lol

  • Watch your language. Did your Mother know that you use language on internet?

  • Yes actually she does Atlanta Bitch

  • ammoina? a month isnt very long to be set up for a SW tank what about nitrate?

  • wat was the name of the fish

  • The tank was to fresh, i see it on the sand its still brown.

And you need more life rock and a skimmer m8

  • It is sad to lose a fav fish, had all mine die in a freak accident. How many years did you have yours for? mine was 5 years old.

  • lol..i thought you was gonna show a shot of him floating upside down..sux man, i wanna get one of these too...

  • heheh i am the vid man lolZ

  • hey you wana know something, the tank was runing for month. with live sand live rock, and a few green chromis then a put the lion in. i know alot about saltwater aquaruims im no dumb ass

  • a month? with freshwater tanks maybe but in saltwater tanks u want to wait at least 8 weeks before u put anything like a lionfish in there. sorry bout the lion though, he was a beauty u gonna try another 1?

  • @Spitz233 Live Sand is not live, bacetria cannot survive the trip just like it doesn't in Live Rock, hence the need to cycle.

Live Sand is marketing. (Any) sand will become live over time, but nowhere near as well as rock would.

Month isn't always long enough, specially with a fish cycle.

Did you do a water test after the death? NH4 and NO2 both 0 I assume?

(Reading your other comments - there really are some dicks on youtube :/)

  • no he feed it a feeder fish and it died cuz tthe lion fish was gay

  • how did he die?

  • No clue, he was fine one day, then next he was doing flips.

  • such a sad day for me
