@doctorsam000 Totally! I never understood why they took someone with an African link. Britain during the Arthurian legends had no-what-so-ever connection with that part of the world. Closest to them perhaps the Roman Empire. Not to mention Lancelot ( who is so far evil even if it's only as result of an enchantment, still undiscovered) is a Latino. Racist indeed!!!!! :)

Hello, this isn't an historic film, it's an inerpretation, and it's made for the people today, to enjoy it. So, today, a lot of people of all colors and origins live in the UK, and where ever this show is on televison. So of course, the producers took actors from different origins, so that everybody can find him/herself in that movie, to identify with someone of the characters. It's a good way to do it.
