  • a jump stop and then take two steps.

  • @xmodedx ya, u r rt in tis scenario..

  • He took 3 steps...N tats a travel foul for me...But the refs r blocked by the players surrounding the scorer so too bad...

  • @watistis11 it isn't illegal if you get away with it

  • travel

  • fuckin japs everywhere

  • hop step

  • The move he did was called "the travel" (its a lame joke yea i know) on a hop step you have to land on both feet or your gonna be able to get alot farther so they ruled that you must land on both feet. refrees don't really call it but don't push your luck on this one

  • well in the street we call that a hop step and I hate it cause if you try to d up on that, you could push the other guy down cause he's off his feet and be a offensive foul

  • lol bastard changed direction in the air

  • NICE AS SPLIT THRU THE D!

  • a lebron move.nice

  • the move he did iz called the hop step

  • im gonna start doing this in my games.

  • u are all mostly wrong, its called pro hop

  • It's called a pro-hop.

  • Hey wat move was that any way just wondering cause my bro can do it and he says i shouldn't do it cause i'm not point guard.

  • Wow! it doesn't matter 'which foot he lands on' after the jump because he releases the ball...You don't get a violation for picking up your pivot foot..it's putting it back down that is the problem.

The legality of the move comes from the fact that simply touching the ball does not indicate possession in the game of basketball so if you're in the air before you pick up your dribble you're in the clear when you land to step into a jump. This one isn't even a dodgy looking one.

  • if he didnt jump he would of tripped on the 2 defenders shoes

  • looked like an up and down

  • TRAVEL U MOTHERFKERS

  • Actually, he should have landed with BOTH feet. It actually is a travel, since he landed with his right foot first, then his left. Nice move, but it technically is a travel. But since he was pretty quick he was able to to get away with it.

  • Chill out give him some props, and it wasn't a travel because the ball wasn't quite in his hands when he took that little first step, it was a good move to get to the rim... But i would of dunked

  • what a cool moves.

  • he traveled, look at the slow mo.

as he's about to "pro hop" he takes one step then lands on his right foot, and then his left foot also touches the floor. that's 3 steps and is considered a travel.

you have to land on both feet for a pro hop

  • its really 2, he jumped then jumped again releasing the basketball

  • he didn't land on both feet at the same time. so it is a travel.

  • no he land 1 feet down and the other feet down, so that is technically 2 steps. then he shot it. that would not be consider travel.

  • many nba players did that and don't get a call. Is that really a travel?

  • no travel 2 foot power lay up

  • hard to say looks like a walking

  • great move. its not travel because it was done so well and it kinda looks like he hit his feet on the ground at the same time

  • b-e-a-utiful move

yes it was a travel, on a hop stop/prohop yu have to land on both feet at the same time

butttt the ref will only call travel 1 out of 10 times, so therefore this move was beatiful

dnt call me a hater or anything ive been playiin ball ma whole life i jus kno the rules

  • @lilplaya1212 uhhh you're retarded

  • @lilplaya1212 agreed you can clearly see it at 0:04

  • the rules aren't that different, slight variances in college and nba regarding traveling but i know jump stopping is legit in any league down to middle school

  • Travel

  • whats the pg doing out so freaking far....

  • nice 1

  • nice slash move

  • nice move.did you see dude just look away once buddy crossed him and scored?he was probably looking at his coach saying ''what do i do now coach?''lol

  • hey lol i do that move its tight .

  • whats with the random jap music?

    niggas in the house!

  • how do u do that? i can't find a single video that shows the proper way to do that

  • hey did u find a video on how to do that drive i cant do it i practise but never get it man well tell me if u found one or can tell me how to do it iight peace

  • what uou should do is put this video in slow mo and it will be easy to understand :)

  • yea i can do it a little bit now been practising but it keeps not going in sometimes i think its cos im scared or sumthink

  • That's definitely a travel. We're not hating on the kid, we're pointing out that it's a travel. Capisce?

  • dumbass its a pro hop

  • Lol, pro hop? Are you blind? Asshole

  • he traveled, he jumped with one, foot landed on one foot, and then took a step, its a travel

  • thats lebron james #1 higschool move but he dunks it after..

  • nice move NO TRAVEL SO STOP HATIN ON THE KID

  • What's with the music?

  • thats sketchy man but that wouldnt get called, pylon D ftw!

  • i used to do that move back then wen i felt i had to, wen i was in better shape lol

  • gentlemen i konw we all are wondering if that was a travel or not. Here is how it is understood.

NBA 2 count: once the ball is in the possession of the dribbler, they are allowed two steps .

COLLEGE JUMP STOP: if the player is on the run once the ball is in possession, they are allowed to land on two feet.

Bottom line is if he steps without the ball, then jumps while catching the ball, the instat he lands its his first step. If he gathers the ball while stepping he has to come down on two.

  • dats no travel at all boy!!he did landed with both feet

  • thats a travel, he stopped one leg than the other. your suppose to hop step by having both feet stop at the same time

  • nope thats not a travel, he picked up his dribble as he was hopping between the defenders so he can still land with one foot and then another...2 step

  • that was gresy dawG

    thumbs up

  • no travel man, that were only 2 steps!

  • its a jump stop but he landed on 1 leg and take the 3rd step so thats travel. jump stop is a jump and land in both feet, which counts as 1 step.

  • he took one step then took to more, if he were to land in a jump stop it would not be a travel but he three steps. thats the rule they may not call it in hte nba but it is a travel

  • yea u guys are idiots...

  • that's called a hop step, idiots. he didnt travel.

  • travel, thats 3 steps.

  • NICE :)

  • your all dumbasses thats not travel thats hop step

  • jump stop

  • its not travel, its a legal jump stop, he basically dribble jump jump layup, watch the nba fools

  • ur the only fool here, 1st off that wasnt the NBA and 2nd of all the rules are different for pro college and highschool

  • lucky the refs didnt call travel cause he took 3 steps.

  • You need to land with both feet at the same time, he didn't, thus took 3 single steps and travelled.

  • horrible

  • n'importe quoi qu'est ce qui ont les gens marché de ou ?? vous etes fou ouquoi !!

faut leur smatché sur la tete a ceux la le chat !!

  • travel.. he bounced last of his left and started first with his right so he took 3 steps basically right right left

  • sk8allday is right if he came back down the second time it woulda been a travel but he didnt

  • this is NoT a TRAVEL, he lands right foot then left foot, then jumps off his pivot which is the right foot. totally legal, if his left leg would of come off the floor first it would of been a travel.

  • massive travel, but the trail ref was always in the wrong position to call it

  • wow thats nothing, i did that b4 in a game

  • haha sure you have buddy...

  • YEAA I DID

  • thats a travel. what a fake

  • Yup its a travel. But hes got the skills to split the D perfectly. Its alright to do that only if you know you can finish

  • it's a travel, a real ref would have called it.

He jumps of one leg (step one) and lands on 2 (step two & three) so that's a travel.

BTW, a guy that drives against 3 defenders isn't good, he's an egoist

  • he jumped off of one foot at aposed to the proper "two foot" jump your supposed to do when u do a power box, haha i dont care its two hard to tell either way hes good

  • thats a travel

  • no its not he did a jump stop and then jumped up again he never came back down with the ball the 2nd time
