Once the PS3 gets really high in sales, Sony is gonna feel safe with cutting PS2 off. This is what Microsoft did, they had stoped the regualar Xbox so much to get people to switch over quicker. there are still alot of People on PS2 who are not switching, alot of people who brought 360's becasuse PS3 came out late. the 80 gb uses software to emulate ps2 games thus making it not able to play every single ps2 game. the 60gb and 20gb uses the actual ps2 chip so it can play all ps2 games.

the 80 gig isnt 600 bux its 499 for 100 more dollars you get a bigger hdd 2 more usb's
mem card reader and limited backwards compatability but if thats too expensive
the 40 gig is for you peace

the 80 gb uses software to emulate ps2 games thus making it not able to play every single ps2 game. the 60gb and 20gb uses the actual ps2 chip so it can play all ps2 games.

man....chad warden is a fag. i'm a die hard sony fan. (im not a fanboy. i do appreciates some microsoft and nitendo products). but chad makes playstation look like a bitch even though they really aren't. playstation is the cream of the crop but chad makes them look like the cream of shit.

i have a 20gb ps3 and its really not all that bad. its actually better than the 40gb because the 40gb doesn't have backwards compatibility and only 2 usb ports. the 20gb has full backwards compatibility and it also has 4 usb ports. the only thing that it doesn't have is a 40gb hdd. other than that, the 20gb is a better buy.

yea itz cheaper but it is very hard to find in stores theses dayz. Stocks of the 60GB are extremely low and will be discontinued after it sells out entirely.

there are no more 60 gigs left in my aera at walmart,bestbuy,curcuit city,ebgasmes gamstop,kbtoys,sears, i wanted to get one for my little brother for christmass. O well guess hell just get the 80 gig
