this was a great show. So was "Movin on"today's show's are Sooooo full of it. PUMP AND DUMP. These shows from the 70's were really good. Emergency-adam 12. C'mon. they were the best!

i remember i was a kid when these new shows were gonna premier, and at the time, i was beginning to know what a tv show starting and going off the air was all about. i was very excited about Chopper One" and Firehouse" and i think at the same time "the Cowboys" From the John Wayne movie was also starting

This scene was inspired from a first season episode of Whirlybirds. It was a lot better with a Bell47-G then a Jet Ranger.

Thanks you for posting this! This and Firehouse were my favorite shows on Thursday nights. Let's all hope one day the both of these shows are shown again, either on dvd or on the net.

I've been looking for something on Chopper 1 for 30 years. nobody I know heard of the show I was beginning to think it didn't exist. Many wonderful thanks for the post.
