  • I'm surprised that John Martin's name was not mentioned. John Martin enlisted in Philadelphia on April 1776. That makes him the first black American to enlist in the Marine Corps.

  • Teach youreself!!!!!

  • Hahahahahaha

  • No dislikes? Thank you Youtube and USMC Community, for respecting my race and what we went through.

  • Fuck America, through them, so much blood, death and destruction around the world. Sickening people. A world without America is so much peace loving world. White Americans go to hell!

  • they could talk bout the first black marine, why wont they give info out bout the first korean marine?

  • @IwaysKeepMOMMINd because Koreans where not being 400 years oppressed, and arrears had what the black man in America did. And despite what the evil white man did to the black man, the black man is above all other races. and are able to perform, mohamed ali, mike tyson, tiger woods, steve hamilton, michel jordan, pele and then all black artists and now a black president. It shows that we blacks are superior over all other races. Black power thats real power

  • @140662amarildo How bout the Koreans been oppressed for 100 years, but been harrassed by the Chinese and Japense regime for Centuries. I dont know any Korean American hero that I can name of but I know there is the first Korean American Marine Corps General Col. Daniel Yoo. And the Marine Corp spread throughout nationwide, and hit South Korea, causing the 2nd largest Marine Corp in the world, the ROKMC. The true hero's that fought in Vietnam War was the ROK Army and ROK Marines.

  • @IwaysKeepMOMMINd Indians and the black race have had to endure the most and the least of respect. And blacks have always played an important role in all American wars. If there is a God it does not look too good for the whites. I am not rasist but a realist. Because we are still sewn around the world. But for how long?.

  • @140662amarildo And oh yea, not to be a conspiracist, but from what I heard, the Korean's were actually being insulted and murdered during the World War 2, by the American's itself, I am not sure if this is true or not, but some Japanese idiot told me this, since I never heard of this story it is surely not documented, especially not in the U.S. Korean's were ridiculed and have been treated like the lower class, as slaves, since the beginning of the Korean age, and now during World War 2

  • @140662amarildo Americans are doing the same as China and Japan did to Korea? Having many enemies and still able to run their Country as the 12th richest Country in the World, and the 2nd largest Marine Corp, and plus Navy, Air Force, and Army that Korea are proud to have. Would'nt that be called strong for your Nationality. I mean, Africa, what do they have? Im kind of slight ignorant on certian Countries, but I know Africa, has lots of gangs, but they are the Country most infected with Ebola

  • @140662amarildo and Aids, but they do have Guerrila Warfare Fighters, but do they have Anti Terrorist team? Im ignorant on that, cause most I heard or seen from, is that your country is filled with Terrorist, bunch of Radical Muslim's pissed off at America for a reason, that I am not quite sure get. but I hope you can teach me, since your "African American".

  • @140662amarildo And oh yea 60 plus years of North Korea harrassing South Korea, because of their two different political view, Communism and Republican aka Imperialism :) just kidding, but seriously, the U.N or the leader of the U.N America, the enemy to Communism, are the responsible ones to put the dmz line between North and South, and ordered each other to be shot if any provacation comes to exist at the 38th parallel. North Korea are suffering from torture, torment, and disease of hunger.

  • @140662amarildo Oh wait you an African from Netherlands? Okay this changes everything. Lol

  • @logoRH what a moron

  • hurray to us marines! they know war but understand humanitarian projects too.

  • the united states marines are heroes here in the asia especially in philippines, whenever they were here for visit and bilateral exercise they usually do medical and dental mission, food feeding program, and school construction, the marines help us a lot, they did good in serving the poor here in third world asia, they are no just expert in war but also in humanitarian services, go go go US marines, keep up the good work, that why asia people are proud of you all

  • this should have been gen mattis

  • @logoRH we have been dissolved already? lol really?

  • Ass Kicking! So good to have such a great history. Sorry it took the segregation, But that is dead now. The true brothers are together forever now. Dark green, light green. We are all the same.

  • This was probably the greatest thing I'd ever witnessed that night. Especially as a Lance Cooley. I couldn't beleive how many living Marines from the 50's and to meet the Commandant and SMMC as well. Awesome man.

    Semper Fi.

  • Who was the Embassder to Jamaica?

  • Semper Fi. I didn't know how long black Marines where segregated. As an African-American Marine I never thought about what those men must have gone through in the same places that I was stationed. I don't know if I would have had the discipline the it took to make it in the Corps when the very organization that I was trying to be part of did not want me as a member. Those men were trail blazers and I would like to say thank you,it is not much but it is heart felt.Thank you.
