  • The "Mighty 8th" USAAF became my intellectual hobby after an experience with the Colling's Foundation, "Nine-O-Nine" a number of years ago.

I have since visited 10 of their former airfields in the UK, and the spiritual vibes one gets when strolling those old runways cannot be described. I heartily commend you on a superb historical production. Let these incredibly brave, great men of the USAAF never be forgotten.

  • This is an incredible view into what it was like to live and fly in that time. Thank you for posting.

  • thanks for posting! a great video i live close to parham and whilst most of the runways are intact it was interesting to see the men and planes who brought the airfield to life there is a museum in the controll tower which is ran by local volenteers which is well worth a visit

  • Thank you for posting these films. My Dad was with the 390th BG 570th sqd. It is great seeing some pics of the planes and people he served with!

  • Amazing video, if only more people could realize just how amazing things from our past are.
