John McLaughlin uses a fishman sbt transducer plus an omni condenser mic. John Williams now uses the guts of an AKG 414 fitted inside his guitar + an under saddle transducer strip. I either use a condenser mic direct to a PA system, or I'll use the Godin guitar into the PA or sometimes into a combo. Hope this helps.

Is that a steal string guitar? You don't hold it in the classical fashion which would seem to indicate you haven't had formal classical training but, you play with a wonderful sensitivity towards the music and good finger technique to my ears. Thanks for posting.

Hi tnmtemerity, the guitar is a classical but its not balanced the same as a conventional classical so doesn't sit well in classical position - I usually use a footrest in orthadox position. I've had my fair share of classical training although I often wonder what good it has done though! Thanks for your comments
