When Basset did the stunt where she falls over the back of the couch.. She came down hard on her right arm and actually broke her collar bone. the next day when she arrived for shooting Fishbourn was absolutely stunned and thought that he'd done it. Form that point on when a stunt double was offered to Basset... She greatfully agreed to let them step in...

I've watched this movie countless of times, one question. Why did they mess with the facts? It's a movie that was almost filled with lies. Almost everything was off. That famous cake scene? What really happened was someone ordered a cake (this was at Ike & Tina's house I believe) and Ike thought that Tina ordered it, but she didn't, so he forced her to eat the whole thing. If you read Tina's book, the book and the movie don't match right. Blown out of proportion! Sorry.... just my opinion...
