Nah, all jokes aside, this is probably the best ballad song that DT has ever created. Petrucci's lyrics are so touching and easily relateable that it's unbelieveable. This song tells so well why and how the balance between love and desire for love and getting hurt so easily tips to the latter side quite heavily.

but on a musical level, I have to say I love Mangini's touch on this song. He added JUST the right stuff in the right places. Some timpani, a soft gong, and the tambourine. You know a drummer's good when he can add real orchestrated percussion music like that without even using a drum-beat.
