  • my bags didnt have those little labels :( but really i dont give a f*ck. I just care about the badass phone inside ;)

  • he sound like the dude from knocked up..lolol..

  • HTC desire z is better

  • @PS3NSKYLINE34 The g2 is the dezire Z

  • @Merf1195 but this hasnt got the htc sense which is better

  • @PS3NSKYLINE34 I really don't like HTC Sense UI, cause they mess up the android experience, I have a MyTouch 4g and because I can't uninstall the UI I use the gingerbread launcher.

  • wheres brandon minimin =[

  • does it come with a micro SD card?

  • @zereptv yeah a 8Gig

  • Hey do you guys have a suggestion on what headset/headphone to buy for the G2 because the Android earphones give me ear cancer,as Shay Carl would say.

  • same as the HTC Evo charger. 1 amp.

  • Exactly the same as my HTC USB cable :) They fall out really easy which is annoying.

  • lol "squishies"

  • Is this the new htc desire z or what

  • @TheDarkAlpha7 The HTC Desire Z is the euoropean and other countaries released device, the G2 as been shown in the video is specific to the US, and is almost identical, except its only for the US, and was made by HTC but in conjunction with Google, as opposed to the Desire Z which has nothing to do with google.

also the Desire Z runs Sense, while G2 runs stock 2.2

  • @foyandy it seems also that with sense the benchmark score a a bit lower ( same score as nexus one 2.2 )

  • @DrymR yes it would be lower due to sense useing extra resources, but would u really notice this difference? some ppl h8 sense, others love it, it pends on what ur looking for in the UI. personally i like stock without sense for better performance 3d (star wars style) app tray, over the excessive fancy stuff sense offers. coz with stock 2.2 u can get apps which does the bits of sense which u like, but with the new sense offered on the Desire Z and the Desire HD they have the new features. hard..

  • @foyandy Yeah , Offline navigation and remote backup are killer features !

  • @TheDarkAlpha7 yeah same spec, diffrent software, verizon got one too it is called Lexicon

  • i hate that the usb cord are soooooo short!

  • would love to see it in black.

    Nice unboxing btw.

  • oh n thnx for the unboxing. only person ive seen to go in depth like that

  • i desperately need this phone. this is coming from a guy who currently has an old samsung t429.

  • Every time I see an HTC device that comes in a nice box and includes a few accessories other than the power/USB cable, it makes me angry that my EVO came in what looks like a to-go box.

Good videos thus far, looking forward to more - the G2 is sexy.

  • i want more!!!!!!

  • Love android phones that run vanilla. :)

  • nice detailed unboxing

  • I would have thought the second generation of the first ever android phone, might have built up a lot more hype. heh doesn't matter im not even with t-mobile

  • MORE! :D

  • a desire z without htc sense?

  • this or desire HD?

  • @F1nir first comment isnt "first" halelujah

  • @F1nir depends if u want HTC sense or not

    if not, then G2

i would go with G2, but i dont like t-mobile

    so...ur choice

  • @Rohanlal1 well I don't really care about the sense

I'm stuck between keyboard and optical track pad or better camera and processor.

BTW get Desire Z, same as G2 but international.

  • @F1nir ah, well i would personally go with better camera and processor, but that is because i dont have much of a need for a physical keyboard or trackpad

but, even though the G2 only has an 800 mhz processor, which is kinda low, it actually has beaten numerous android phones in benchmarks

as in, it is supposedly extremely powerful

so i dont think u need to worry abt the processor, as both the G2 and Z are very very powerful

  • @Rohanlal1 i dont see how ppl dont like t-mobile i mean they always having really good sales their plans are really good

  • @killer3878 true, they do have good deals and all

but ive had them for more than 4 years, and i havent had a lot of good coverage,

and after a while, its gotten very annoying

so when my contract expires at the end of this year, i will probably be switching to VZ

but it really depends on where u r and what u do

so if someone lives in an area where there is good t-mo coverage, then thats great

unfortunately, that is not the case for me

but t-mo is a decent network, dont get me wrong
