  • I think the laptop has a chip broken or a part is broken.

  • mira la pila de la tarjeta madre eso ya me paso a mi y era la pila suelta!!!!

  • Watch a 10 year old dell work here!

  • This is why it pays to be your own tech :D

10 year old Dell FTW(and still works!)

  • Napoleon Dynamite FTW! HaHaHa

  • Dell re-warranty is costs more than the new computer. For me, I never ever buy Dell products any more

  • its ironic how they make these PCs and then when an issues comes up with em they just stand there scratching their heads

  • delll support is the worst never ever buy from dell again i wont be.

  • try hiren CD. Dell can kiss my ass!!!

  • simply a bad ram chip

  • he sounds like nepolean dynomite

  • that problem is happening to my dell latitude d620

  • wat did u do to make it do that

  • I wanted to comment and let you know that I was able to fix this issue (at least momentarily) by taking my two DIMMS completely out and putting in a new one that I borrowed from my boyfriend's computer. Still doesn't explain why both of my DIMMS died at the same time though and I'm slightly worried that it really is the motherboard causing the root of the issue.

  • I have the same exact computer and the same exact problem is happening (except depending on which DIMM I have in the scroll lock and num lock lights turn on and stay on). Unfortunately my warranty expired 2 years ago so I believe there's nothing I can really do. If you're able to find out what's causing this issue let me know!

  • i have same laptop and it sucks lol

  • I have a Dell D630 and its doing the samething as yours...

makes me want to smash it against the wall!!! see it that'll make it work :(

  • Michael Dell you cunt!!! What a waste of money I feel like putting an axe to my laptop, gonna tell everyone I come in contact with never to buy a Dell, fucking piece of shit computer!

  • i see

  • I have a Dell laptop. Let's just say I will NEVER buy a Dell OR a Gateway computer again. Bad customer service and they both rip you off. I build mine anymore. Forget brand name computers. I have a Mac which is the way to go, but if you want windows then I would build your own desktop or have someone do it for you. It isn't hard. As for a laptop ONE of the top brands is Toshiba!

  • @Hyperspazzman agreed!!!! Mac also not bad..

  • that's a Ram problem for sure,.... its defective or bad placed

  • dell is very expensive laptop with poor customer support.. get a VAIO then...

  • Wow I dont Undestand this video..lol

  • i hate dell computers...always problems..

  • i'm writing this in a hp laptop, cause my own dell doesn't start up anymore

  • Try to take out the battery and plug in the ac adapter to the computer.

  • problem ram

  • Dell make it look like you are getting a good PC, the sales people are educated, speak well and promise the world. But then reality sets in... then crap & obnoxious technical staff make you wish you purchased something else. But you are stuck with them...... the new ones are worse i understand. No one buys Dalls anymore, they are struggling

  • i hate dell. DONT BUY THEM. Unless you are a horrible fucker. Then you DESERVE ONE! EVEN TWO! FUk dell

  • Is the same problem with my "Workstation" M90. Dell replace hardware, but at short time it died again.

    Is expensive with bad quality.

  • @nicos808 Hp isn't much better. They out source much of the manufacturing overseas, use cheap labor from foreigners who use low grade(cheap ass) components to assemble stuff. Then, ppl have problems with cold solders, power jacks, and other shit.

Why can't they just make good QUALITY crafted pc's with QUALITY grade materials!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • @joebg1 Yeah quality is gone, the manufacturers say "we are cutting corners on R&D and QoS because the Consumer wants lower and lower prices". No we dont, weve never gone on about prices, thats their decision and once again the Consumer gets blamed. They are all fucked. Im sure I have cost Dell a fair few dollars, I tell everyone at any opertunity how crap they are and never to buy them, at work (im in IT) and in my personal life. Ive moved to MAC now just to get away from them all.

  • @nicos808

I build my own computers. Much better quality, costs less, and you don't get bloat ware.

  • did u try to take apart ur computer??? most likely u have to remove ur hard drive ur cd drive and battery before taking apart ur laptop or it will not start because i didnt remove stuff on my cousins laptop and it diidnt start after wards :P so make sure u remove those 3 before u take apart ur laptop

  • i will trade you my dell m70 works great for that one

  • if your harddrive light is flashing in a pattern, it crashed. call dell and they'll replace it free.

  • Fatal motherboard or processor failure if that is that is the caps lock light flashing, why did you feel the need to take that dimm in and out ?

  • @smartiemnx because that is what the idiots at dell told him to do.

  • I'm one of those idiots, that is why i ask....

  • I can tell you how to fix it. It just like the old tube radios you spit in the back and you hit it twice it works like a charm. Except on the new computers you need more moisture like a bath tub full of salt water and you need at least a jack hammer and use it for an hour. Next you need to go buy Mac.

  • and for you, macs have harddrives that crash as well. but the only problem there is if it happens you need to pay 500 dollars for the fuckin rip off company to repair something that was their fault. dell does it free with the INCLUDED 2 YEAR WARRANTY. you dont have to pay another 200 dollars to get an extra year added on to your one year warranty because apple doesnt even trust their own product. so fuck mac! theyre cheeply manufactured and sold for a very expensive price.

  • rofl no* listen dude dont listen to no one in here, stop opening crap from the back and trying to fix it, i could tell the problem started as soon as you tried to go albert einstein on it* tell them to just replace it for you* and thats it* or maybe your warranty expired? i got my dell studio 15 and it works like a charm my dude*

  • okay the problem exists in the hard drive and the mem ram and believe it or not the mother board. i had this same problem and just called dell and told them to replace it

  • there is probly one of two problems eaither htye send you a used battery and its fryed or... they sent you the wronge type of battery in there lol

  • K this is pissing me off... mine just says "resuming windows..." then it "loads" as if the log in screen will come up but its just black and all i can see is my cursor which i can move around but nothing else works or happens... I've tried everything and i can't fix it...

  • my dimension 5150 been doing something like that and I have to pull the cable out and let it power cycle till it does a rev and then turn it on I guess it means time to buy a new computer(I wanna build a tower)

  • I hade this Prob with my dell precision M50 and it was my memory try and change the slot and if it doesnt work then its the motherboard and your completly screwed then you have to buy a whole new laptop.

  • this is what you should do!

take out the battery, and diconnect the power cable. then hold the powerbutton down for 10 secounds to reset bios. if nothing happens, take out 1 ram brick and do it again. if that doesent work, leave the bios battery out for 1 hour. and if that doesent work, the graphickscard is broken. if the gc is broken, u order a new motherboard from china on e-bay! I did yust that with my hp dv6005ea

    you're wellcome!

  • my laptop god this problem

    start DST short test

    Test result: fail

    Error code : 1000-0141

    msg: no drive detected

can someone know about this problem. pls kindly send your information thanks

  • check you're harddrive. u probably havent got one, or it is loose. or something is wrong with the connection. trye resetting bios after u have checked your harddrive

  • Lol they messed it up, not me. I got mine replaced so I really don't care anymore. Futhermore, Dells still are crap.

  • dude check the internal memory...under keyboard.!

  • I have a Inspiron 1720 and I know how you feel * and what you're going through. Well, I had the comp die on me, then I sent it out to get repairs, got it back, kept restarting (not a BSoD error mssg). 8 Techs from DELL went in to to fix it, nothing worked. Reinstalled windows 2 times, it didnt help. Then that agent who came to my house replaced it with a new hard drive and ram/memory, but that didn't help. And its past 21 days, so I am stuck with it. Basically, Dell's are pieces of crap :D

  • dude..go through the BIOS and under the hard drive..switch from sata to ATA sum shyt like that..it will boot up fine.

  • dude. it means u have to much, or a bad piece of RAM try taking one out and booting from the other

  • omg i got the same comp as him 0_o shud i bring mines back and what comp shud i get if i do

  • theres a loose cable, youll have to open it up and locate it

  • if your laptop is under warranty, get it sorted, if not, please remove, ram, battery, and press power button for 5seconds to ease out any unused charge in the machine, and then power it up by means of the power cable only and see if you need to wiggle the wirem as your adaptor pin integrated on the motherboard is causing it so-less power supply, try it this way to see if it helps
