  • That solo gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it. The guitarist here pulled it off in a really tasteful way.

  • You're asking me will my cock grow

    No

  • Red Square 2003 concert are much better and hot

  • @Krydeer

    this is true

  • I feel so sorry for all my classmates that have absoulute no ideo of what the beatles is...

  • Awesome music can cross the language barrier. You don't need to know english to be inspired by The Beatles' music.

  • genial tremendo artista tu musica simpre estara en nustros corazones..

  • they played a similar arrangement in the Concert for George. just lovely.

  • AMAZING ♥

  • OMG it is him. He's my old principals husband O_O

  • I'm of Russian descent and my grandparents swear that the Beatles, not Reagan, not missles, not Star Wars not anything but the Beatles brought down the Soviet Union. They showed Russian youth that the world can be different, that there can be hope, that we don't have to stay the same that people can be free and live. That attitude of change remained until the youth grew up to be in a position to change their lives and they did.

  • God there are some beautiful Russian women!!!

  • omfg I love paul mccartney and Im just -60 years old!!! (... stop fucking posting about your age, damn)

  • WELL YOU NOW I BELIEVE AND HOW.... THE BIG FOUR ONES

  • What are the ukulele chords to this version?

  • Nine people didn't stick around and let it show.

  • i would've sold my soul to be there

  • 8 ignorantes vieron este video

  • I prefer when George sang it.

  • @ankakya You are comparing a 66 year old person singing live in 2008 to the studio version sung by a 26 year old in 1969... or is it you just like George's voice better in general?

  • @Dios67 I like Paul voice :) (hmm... I think that Paul is my favourite beatle) but this song is with story (I mean about Layla...) and because of that I prefer when George sang it :)

  • @ankakya I understand. A song written by George is best sung by George. I like all the Beatles but lean more towards McCartney. I'm just happy we have all the great Beatle and solo work.

  • PAUL, JOHN, GEORGE & RINGO: ONE SOUL

  • GEORGIEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • I love how he hums the riff :)

  • thank you GEORGE for this thing

  • i think i'll die in a couple of days... in 12 days he'll be singing this in my country, and i'll be there!

  • You hear this justin bieber? This is REAL music. This is WHAT good artists are like. Good luck topping this

  • if he did it in the right rythem as george it would be PERFECT

  • paul you need me to sing harmony with you on this song.

  • i absolutely love this song but While My Guitar Gently Weeps is better

  • Happy birthday George :)

  • beautiful

  • Paul did a very good job

  • A great song stands the test of time, for Paul to include this in his concert set list is proof he is a class act. There are hundreds of Mcartney penned tunes to choose from that he did not include to make room for this song. A nice tribute to George.

  • @nailheadroadster

like the original better the ukekle is a distraction to the beautiful lyrics and meaning of the song.

  • Good cover Sir. Paul

  • Man, I miss Georgie. We'll see him again...and it will be something else.

  • @maddiecullen17 I have a ukelele, if I learn this, do I win?

  • Is the solo written by paul or george??

  • Paul McCartney usando un Charango ke cool solo falta ke venga al Peruu!! BUUUU :(

  • @vazko10 ukulele imbeciiiiillll!!! ....pero si, ojala vaya a peru...ya lo vi aqui en miami.

  • woooow, i love this, but not more than George's, because George had a voice thats so calm and soothing, ughhhh, RIP George.

  • As Frank Sinatra pointed:

    That´s the most beautiful music.

In the bottom of heart it´s better in the voice of George, .

  • what an aweful version...i think it always bugged the hell out of Paul that George wrote such a great song.

  • @Ladyboyloverxxx2 Are you kidding me? If you respected or even liked the Beatles you'd know that they worked at a team and that the way they were successful, No Beatle is credited for a single song, and this song was originally played for George while he was ill, Paul played a charity concert for him.

  • Georger the best beatle!!!!!!!!

  • no offense to all the George fans out there but i like this better than the original

  • 5 stars isn't enough!

  • hes like a rare type of cheese getting better and better with age! hes as good as ever and my dream of a life time would be to meat him my dream of a milenia would be to sing with him.

  • very bad.,. he needs to sing it faithfully to the orignal for a change. That is what is called respect to your former bandmate and friend.

  • @photoman2004 He does this out of respect. George did this version for him shortly before he died. George gave him the Ukelele. Paul isnt being disrespectful at all. Its a really good rendition.

  • @MtzUglyDuck yeah i guess you're right

  • almost made me cry

  • i love how the beatles live on through paul, how great is paul seriously?

  • His bass on the original track was phenomenal.

  • The biggest beautiful music....

  • Will my love grow? I don't know IIIIIIII don't know!!

  • This is so beautiful!

  • Dios mio, no puedo creer que la gente sea tan gilipollas pensando que este hombre está muerto. Él está más vivo que nunca!! Te quiero Sir Paul!!!

  • I adore "Something"!The best music! This song eternal and wonderful!I cry of happy when listen!Gratitudes the Gon for Paul and The Beatles!Kisses and Hugs!

  • @romlavlu ... wut?

  • @soravsgoku123 i think he doesnt speak englis...he says the best son....this song ig esternal and wonderful...i cried of happiness.....good for paul and the beatles...kisses and hugs

    I think?!?

  • I think he practiced very good on that part Ukrainia

  • something..this song is beattiful

  • This is a tribute to george :)

  • I feel so sorry for the kids these days who just don't get how much those four boys effected music. And how much we miss George and John.

  • @kurtisle don't worry I'm writing my US History term paper on it ;)

  • @kurtisle im 14 and i love the beatles, i was just playing along with this on ukulele...my generation sucks!

  • @ritcheyrocker Good on you ....

  • @kurtisle aha!! see that is where you are wrong. your acting as if we dont know who the beatles are. I for one after looking up some history on them and getting to know them better over the past 2 years have grown to LOVE them!! I DO know how much they changed music. They are my favorite band. And they are also plenty of other kids favorite bands

  • @kurtisle I know what you mean im embarrassed by my generation haha

  • @kurtisle They understand how backstreet boys affect music. Damn, I'm so sad for most kids in this world.

  • @kurtisle with out them there music wouldn't have existed, i tried explaining it to my friends but there like ya right

  • @kurtisle I'm A Child. And I Understand Perfectly. BEATLES FOREVER!

  • @kurtisle Yes.

But now, we have tecnology, and we can see the beatles videos on youtube. ^^

  • Don't feel sorry, any kid who knows anything about Rock n' Roll history knows how much the Beatles gave and how much it influenced people.. For god's sake like George said: 'Every child goes through the Yellow Submarine at one point.' and I believe that still carry's on today.

  • @kurtisle What about Ringo

  • Good talking Ukrainian, Paul))

  • good tribute a george harrison somethin i like very much ....grettings

  • Please, please, please. You have got to listen to Richard Green - Running through New York . Breast cancer charity song. it's Amazing

  • I was at this concert. I was crying.

  • i love hanamoon

  • Moving indeed since that song is very George.

  • Comment removed

  • @badomenechdecelles its a tribute in honor of george........

  • @beatlebum19 Yeah I know i know --" i'm not stupid

  • I dont know, i dont know.

  • Nice ukulele !

  • This was such an awesome tribute to George.

  • So beautiful, touching and moving. There was just so much talent and heart in the Beatles that even after so many years and loss, Sir Paul, perhaps THE renaissance musician of all time, can bear his soul and share the love that eminates from such a timeless piece. I can only hope and pray that generations to come will realize just how much the Beatles- both collectively and individually- shaped how music is played and communicated.

  • If George was at this concert he would be so proud of Paul

  • wheres mr.harrison????

  • @THEGUYD0WNTHESTREET in heaven near Lennon, still playing together i guess

  • such a beautifull song!!!!!!!!!! sir. paul!!!

  • Probably one of the best covers of this song. :P

  • @PiggyPinedog I'm not really sure you can call it a cover exactly XD

  • The best song George ever made, you can't avoid to drop tears and be grateful he sings it in every concert from this concert in Kyiv to date.

  • Hes singing it because its his tribute to george

  • Why is there a dislike option for this video?

  • um why is Paul sining it it was by George R.I.P George and John

  • @MsBobohj Why is Paul singing it? Well you answered your own question, he is dead.

  • Think...

  • saw him live in san fransisco last night, i cried when the solo came on and it had pictures of george, hes my fucking idol R.I.P.

  • The ukelele? Well, George was a great fan of George Formby.

  • Это великая песня!

  • Goerge version is much better

  • spasiba George Harrison 4 ur genius musica.

  • increible! Paul, aqui en Perú ya te estamos esperando.

  • i love how he uses the ukulele...das how...i love it

  • It was a great concert... Paul said in Ukrainian "This song is for George"...

    RIP, George...

  • great guitarest sounds almost like george ..RIP

  • Pauls still got it

  • i thought George Harrison sung this?

  • @fmcco1 He does originally sing the song, but i guess Paul sings it at concersts, plus Goerge died. R.I.P :(

  • @fmcco1 He did. This is Paul's tribute to him.

  • @tjb3454555150 oh, R.I.P George Harrison

  • @fmcco1 yeah, its a tribute for george.

  • @fmcco1 George wrote it and sang it in the Beatles, but George is dead, so this is Paul's tribute to George

  • the heaven is with you george harrison !!!!!

    greetings from chile!!!

  • Paul's guitarist can read and play music better than Paul - someone here said Paul is a genius - he's certainly made lots of money and been knighted for his contributions to England's tax economy - but a genius at music he is not

  • @majorgeek: nope, you just suck.

  • fuck distortion in solo.

    i hate paul`s guitarist.

  • @majorgeeek Only 'DickHead' here is YOU shitstain.

  • @jhawkump oh Im sorry I didn't mean to offend Paul's retarded geriatric fanclub

  • @majorgeeek If being 34 qualifies me for the 'geriatrics' ward, so be it. But my view of you stands~~~You're an ignorant, dickheaded shitstain!

  • @jhawkump make up your mind grandpa 34 or 52? your profile says 52? - getting so demented and senile you cannot remember your own age? even Paul knows he is 68 ? - the only shitstain I see is the one between your ears

  • @majorgeeek Don't know what profile you're looking Einstein, but it wasn't mine. Gotta go~~can't waste time on trash and ur momma's mouth is waiting for me.

  • @jhawkump I was referring to your own profile numbnuts - the one where you said you are 52 not 34 -

  • @jhawkump Hawk, don't waste time acknowledging moron trolls...he's obviously mentally instable and just plain internet trash.

  • @Govmarshal You are of course correct Gov. The 'ignore morons' option has been activated, LMAO. Cheers.

  • I was there! I was standing on the right of the stage.

It was very touching! I could feel the people in the crowd were changing through his whole performance, and at the end when he sang "Yesterday" was too amazing!

One year earlier Elton was in concert in Kiev too. But I didn't go then. :(

  • VIENE A MÉXICO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was alive while George Harrison was!!!!!!

  • RIP George!

  • the original studio version of this George Harrison hit tune is enormously better than Paul's interpretation - possibly the best of the lead guitar Harrison solos - Paul's music is redundant in today's Rock environment

  • Your absolutly right!

  • Is this the Mozart video site? Ahhh Sir Paul in Kiev. Been watching the Kiev videos, and some of US2002 also. Great stuff, big fan of the drummer. Paul's great, makes a couple mistakes and fucks with the crowd. Check out 'live in Novia Sotia,' long version of "Paperback Writer"...................."I knew it was in ' G '........It's MY show!"

  • you ignorant history-driven fool check his concert in citi field there are kids screaming that are more bright than you are and I don't say this to defend Paul because he doesn't need defending I say this because you have no life you comment on every video with the Beatles that I have watched only to be proven the amount of stupidity you sport. get back to your hole.

  • @starwarsfreak1111 - what a dumbass - "kids screaming" at citifield??? the audience average age was more like 40 years old with many geriatrics, grandmas and grandpas - Paul should be singing"she was just 67 you know what I mean...and my heart went boom, when I crossed that room, and fell ino a comaaaaaaaa"

  • i like this version..its great

  • super-song :), love it!

  • amazing

  • cmon we all know george wrote thisss song=)

and this is the best cover ever!!!!!!!!!!!!111111!!!

  • No not a cover it was a Beatles release. Happy birthday George

  • Even Frank Sinatra said it was the greatest love song ever written.

  • He said it was the best love song written in the past 50 years; and he said it well over 20 years ago. Probably still holds true today.

  • I think it says alot without using a lot of words.

  • It was adapted very cool!!! I liked it!!! :D Great guitars!!!

  • would this be considered a cover? He was in the beatles, who released this, but he didn't write or sing it...

  • @DanM25456 Depends how you'd define "cover", really. I don't call it one because it wasn't a George Harrison song, it was a Beatles song and I don't consider bandmates playing former songs of the band (theirs or not) covers since he WAS originally on the recording.

  • Yes, it is. And its tribute to George.

  • john said in his last play boy interview that he helped george in write taxman...george also claimed he helped john/paul on song writing w/o receiving publishing credit.. we don't know who worte what....paul did play bass and sing backing vocals on something....no it is not a cover because its a beatle song & paul was a beatle ...if it had been a song george worte durning his solo career then yes it would be a cover..

  • GRAZIE GEORGE

  • awesome

  • Thank you, God, for Paul McCartney.

  • @majorgeeek ?????????????

  • @EPCOTL8T & Thank you God for The Beatles !:D

  • @EPCOTL8T I totally agree with your words desde Argentina

  • @EPCOTL8T and for George Harrison for writing this song and being totally fucking awesome
