Name on singer in the last 20 years that can compete with the greats of yester year. Tom, Elvis, Roy Orbison, Gene Pitney, Engelbert. No one even comes close. The best young singer to come somewhat close is Adam Lambert and he completely flushed his talent down the toilet. Years ago you had to be GREAT to make it, today you just need a gimmick. What a waste of time music is today.

Wow, 70 years old and he can still sing this song. Many singers would have either given up singing it or tried to half sing half talk their way through it but TJ still does a passable job with it. Not as great as 25 years ago but he isn't embarrassing himself out there.

Great man, and great voice!!! Still so dynamic. His voice had changed since old days of course but I wouldn't say its worse. For me his voice is now somewhat more...powerful!

Wow, TJ is SO COOL. I've been listening to a LOT of james bond music the last two weeks, and this song got stuck into my head for TWO DAYS! It was driving me crazy! Lots of great versions on youtube.

@Thorneycroft37 I think you're just assuming that he doesn't because logic tells you so, but I just heard the 60s live version of his and he DOES hit the same note and holds it even longer here...

Maybe you meant to say that the timbre of his voice is rougher/not as clean as back then, but he hits the same exact note.
