My dad is dying. He's expected to live 2 or 3 more years. I'm only 13. If he goes, I'll be an orphan. My dad has been raising me by himself since I was 4, my mom died when I was 7.. and if my dad dies.. I dont think I'll be able to handle it. I love him so much. He gave me so many happy memories. I'm so heartbroken because I know its going to happen..

i know how u feel i lost my father when i was 7 years old in 1993 and than my grand 1997 and than my mom in 2004 but when i lost my dad i kinda lost it and told alot of my friends and other ppl to f**k off and i did not want to talk and stuff it was a killer back than :/
Very moving video! I lost my father when I was 13 years old. I am now 35 and I still think aboout him and miss him everyday.My mother tells me all the time that he would have just adored my children and would have absolutely loved my husband. It really makes me feel good to hear that, she knew him best! Thanks so much for sharing!
I lost my dad last week, he was 78, I'm 46 but I am grieving terribly. Really hit me hard. I hope this pain will ease. He is at peace, I'm in pieces, we were close.
i no that fealing, well sorta i was pulled from my father at age 3, then my mother at age 8, and i never realy was able to get adopted, ya i was adopted but its not the same as the real thing..... it must b nice to acualy have a dad, and get 2 no him.... but i c ur pain when it comes to simalarities....
so my bestfriends dad was the dad i never had this year they found a second cancer in his brain and now theyre giving him less then half a year i dont even know how im going to react
Yeah the love never dies for the ones they leave behind I miss you Ma! she died June 8th 2008 I miss her and think of her everyday just like I told her before she left for her journey.. I don't think the pain will ever go away.
I know it sounds weird. But maybe we are blessed that we have this pain it kind of proves that we are really special people to have been loved by our mothers.
My husband counsels students in an inner city high school. Gang violence occurs all too regularly. Is this song on a CD that I could purchase for him to share with his students?

I love your video it really hit home for me. When you loose someone you love it breaks your heart. I don't think you ever stop feeling that loss but you learn to accept it.

My Mom passed May 5th 2007 the pain doesn't go away sadly =(

my mom died wen i was 3 in 2001 i am now 11.she was only 27 she died of a heart attack.
