Why doesn't the exchange rate simply cancel out a relative shift in prices between two economies? Is the reason that people are already holding currency in the other respective economy?
This is far better than what I could do and I'm about a thousand years old now - but it's so lame that schools want to try and make some arcane theoretical topic "fun".
@Craptron2000 thanks! this was the end of semester review project for the final exam. everyone was assigned a topic. the best videos for each topic get made into an epic review DVD
