Those who say it's fake aren't bowlers. In bowling you adjust depending on what pins are left. For example, you hit the pocket high you would tend to leave pins towards the 7 and vice versa. To make things short bowlers know that if they hit the pins in a certain area they know what pins will tend to be left.

Its actually only about 10-20% luck. Norm Practices this shot a lot, this is 1 of the few he is famous for. He can aim the spinning ball in a general direction. And throw the second ball at a certain angle to leave 1-2 pins where the spinning ball is going. Some luck yes but Tons of Skill
