  • Faster

  • the song goes a little faster in the real song

  • Haahah! You're awesome Josh <3

  • OMG OMG I PLAY JACK TOO! :)

  • jack with tourettes

  • ...and to Mcwaffles1593... It's Stanislavsky with a Y you idiot! If you're going to be referential you should know what you're talking about.

  • Your voice is good. This is a hard song to sing. It was probably even harder because your pianist sucked! Jack causes so much trouble in this show and this song is his only chance to tell the audience what really happens up the beanstalk. You really have to understand what drove him up there. I'm not getting that you do.

  • as a cappies judge i would hav given him a bad rating...because in acting and in musical theatre...its actor first singer second...u broke character twice...as a Stanislavski actor i would hav rated the acting bad but the overall singin was good except goin off pitch a few times...otherwise u hav a great voice

  • @mcwaffles121593 That was a rather rude comment if you really are a Cappies judge... There is a difference between criticism and constructive criticism..

  • fab!

  • it was like watching pee wee herman in a musical haha

  • hey man Respect!

  • Beutiful Singing........ the acting leaves more than a little to be desired.

  • This would have been much better with a full orchestra behind it - the piano alone doesn't make it feel as epic...

Very good though, you have an interesting tone to your voice.

  • you nailed it if only u looked more like jack but other than that great job staying in character and acting, and great singing

  • Into the woods! I love this play! I had no idea you were even in it. Great job! You have such a great voice!

  • I think u have an amazing voice but you need spacing but thats my stlye

  • hey it's gd, but if you ever singing it agen just remember that Jack is telling a story. remeber to feel all the emotion and what he has been through!

  • weird tone. but even in the sad parts, his face is still happy. not the best actor, if u ask me. pretty good singer, tho.

  • Excellent singing up until "the roof, the house..."---that's one of the most beautiful lines, and you just...missed it, both times. Aside from that though, good.

  • Your voice quality is certainly good - I just don't like the tone. It's so nasally that I couldn't stand finishing the video.

  • not impressed..nice tenor no lie but your vowels and body expressions are way too small everything needs to be bigger ... when you feel like you're going to explode of nerdyness then you almost have enough to show the audience

  • I'm not going to lie, you aren't the best actor I've seen in this role, but dear God have you got a wicked set of pipes. Definately the best singer I've heard as Jack so far, and it's one of my favorite roles in a musical, so I've researched it quite a bit.

  • i am playign jack at my schhoool..a nd i rreallly dont want to wear tights..

did u have to wear tights?

  • In theatre sometimes you've gotta do things you don't want too. So get over it and be happy you even got the part.

  • oh im good

my play was almost 3 weeks ago

    it went just fine

  • Oh thats good. No problem with tights?

  • nope,

    didnt even wear them.

    :p

  • im impressed

  • lol 1:00 is funny

  • Wow!

  • really good makes a good jack

    good tenor sing this one

  • My fav is at 1:00

  • amazing

  • Cool, you have a good voice, and have more courage than me:- singing in public, lol...
