  • Had a member of the NYPD shout at me and follow me because I tried to observe them being physical with a street vender. He threatened to arrest me for disorderly conduct for asserting the right to observe. He shouted at me without cause. I told him I was obeying the law and that I had the right to observe be he told me that I had no place in telling HIM what the law is. Thugs with badges. Thugs with freaking badges. I am so angry with myself for not getting his badge number.

  • dear cops and officers. we are on your side. please don't hurt us. please let us film. please do not let your badge make wrong decisions. we want piece. we need your help with that. we are jobless and scared and worried. and so should you be. occupy wallstreet!

  • Would all of you idiots please stop saying that our rights come from the constitution? THEY DO NOT. YOUR RIGHTS WERE ENDOWED BY BIRTH, NOT BY THE GOVERNMENT.

  • I hate it when useless Cops park in a fire lane to run into the Kwik Trip Gas station where I live to get glazer donuts. They do it all the time. One they are not above the law to park where ever the hell they feel like it, second they are taking all the donuts I go there for. God Damn It.

  • Why don't we just put camera ON police officers, we have the technology, a web cam on their shoulder or head and some flash memory, not very expensive, problem solved.

  • If I am on a call/traffic stop, and a Copwatch crew shows up, they are told to stay 50 feet away from the incident. Considering reaction distance is recognized as 31 feet, this is reasonable. Any closer and I have to stop what I'm doing and deal with an unknown behind me. This hinders me from my duty, which is an articulatable offense. And u will be arrested. Oh, and its badge #81.

  • @badge #81 Why do you mention "Copwatch crews" Do you treat them different than anyone else? If you don't feel safe, put up a yellow crime scene ribbon and stop everyone from entering your space.

  • @MrBullfrog9876 I'm sorry, I thought we were discussing Copwatch crews. If anyone attempts to become unnecessarily involved in a situation I am dealing with, they are told the same thing. I welcome honest interest from the public. However, in my experience, "Copwatch" has an agenda all of their own. Interrupting an officer in the middle of a situation, to ask his badge number, is stupid and dangerous. Yes, dangerous, for you as well as the Cop. You dont know who the Cop is dealing with.

  • PIG COP—Once upon a time there was a pig who mastered walking upright. His piggish habits were no deterrent in getting him placed on the police force in Volusia County, Florida. He drank, ca-roused, engaged in homosex and got himself killed in a one-car collision. His funeral was attended by 1,800 brother-pig officers. His delicious remains were made into link sausage: spicy-hot- police style.

  • Never (did I say NEVER?) give your NAME or Date Of Birth (DOB). Once you give the NAME the corporation issued (via the registration of your birth certificate) you've just given them joinder. Joinder is akin to a parasite locking its pincers on you. They will not release you until they either achieve their objective of consuming/assimilating you or they die. If a cop has no business card to give you when asked or refuses to give his badge # he is out of uniform and not on his oath. That's fraud!

  • They got nothing but a badge and a gun. Police Officers are 'private contractors' and work for a Dun & Bradstreet listed, for profit corporation. Take away the accoutrements, the garb and they are as authoritarian as a cloudy day.

  • one lawyer on the net tells you not to ever let an officer know you are trying to get their badge number (if possible) because they might be angered enough to manufacture something against you

  • wow i love these series, thanks for the awesome info! now i won't panick when i smell bacon and it starts asking me questions lol

  • you guys are wreckless in the way you observe. what I see in this video are the copwatchers observing while standing in the street which is illegal, You are repeatly interfering with police while they are investigating a suspect which is illegal, All cops wear their badge numbers and name on their uniform so there is no need to ask them. You guys give copwatchers a bad name. Quit breaking the law before you start checking police officers!

  • @MARTIALlawdogUSA said: "You are repeatly interfering with police while they are investigating a suspect which is illegal"

Are you sure about this? Interfering statutes vary by state, and every statute I've seen requires force to be used before an interfering charge can be levied.

  • @Pafoofnik1 I mean they can trump out some obstruction of justice charge or something even if it is something as simple as questioning police about why they are investigating a situation and of the course police have no obligation to inform a bistander who is in no way connected to the person getting investigated any answers.

  • @MARTIALlawdogUSA: Agreed. Why would anyone want to question police about what they are doing?

However, you said: "what I see in this video are the copwatchers observing while standing in the street which is illegal". You didn;t say anything about talking to anyone.

  • I have mentioned it in other videos regarding how people were trying to talk over the cop while he was questioning someone. I mean I am interested in knowing what cops are doing but I observe from a respectable distance and try not to interfere unless the cops are doing something immoral or illegal and then I have been known to let them know to think about what they are doing because people are watching and could testify.

  • I've recently seen several such vids, and yes, there is some good happening here from these efforts....however, the cops are going to continue to do this, then get caught later. Other bigger things aimed at deceiving and traumatising people, the plans of the elite, New World Order, to enslave, depopulate, etc...these things will blindside folks. People need to prepare mentally to endure and be critical thinkers through that...your effort isn't in vain, but this is already unstoppable.

  • i learn so much from you guys. thanks so much!!

  • this is all fine and dandy and absolutely we should not let anyone step on our rights as citizens. BUT time after time it proves no matter what you do it ends in the same way as far as out of line cops (paid leave) then back to work we as a people are NOT pushing back hard enough.

  • Thats a good idea!.. giving there badge number an ID on a card, them cops dont look like the mind either. Some are even walking up and giving them to u without any hassle.

    Im all for that!

  • They just want people to get far away so they wont be caught doing wrong on camera. They better not tell me to cut my ish off! Start hitting the PDs pockets for injustice! And a PD business card is not good enough, you need to tape them in action!

  • @police111b Oh yeah, George Bush was a real progressive :)

  • @Jacobzladder Actually he was. He doubled the size of government. Ron paul 2012! Common sense revisited

  • @police111b lol, Those that Enforce are just as bad as those that create. Lets take a look at the nazi era, should we have only gone after Hitler for all the crimes committed against humanity and let the officers, soldiers, gestapo, etc. go on grounds they were just fallowing orders? Police are PUBLIC SERVANTS and the public has every right to observe and ensure they are SERVING the public by protecting our rights not taking them away.

  • @police111b Yeah, because a Domest Terrorists job is oh so difficult. They have to put up with handing out traffic citations, harassing high school kids for Marijuana possession, and sitting at the local 7-11 with a bunch of their buddies shooting the shit lol....Their job doesnt even make the top 10 most dangerous jobs in America list LMFAO!

  • @police111b No peoples ritghs are being taken away by the cops!

  • Funny how cops are so unnerved by someone standing there with a camera. It is true that they can require you to move away if they feel your proximity is interfering with the scene, but their paranoia is ridiculous.

  • Denver officers are badge heavy, bullying BASTARDS! I know from personal experience, and I have never been arested for anthing.

  • there is proof here there are still good cops out there. theres a lot more corruption but theres still good cops to.

  • No Lifee Get a reall Job u lamez ... u people Have too much time on your Handz

  • Cops are goons who are just out for excitement and adventure and if they can't find it, they'll make it.

  • you have the right to observe but dont have the right to interfear and thats where people mess it up

  • Why are you guys recording cops when you guys could be doing something productive...like helping homeless people?

  • i thinks it funny when the police use camaras thats when everyone runs away, officers dont have to explain your rights

  • WOW yall are fucking losers I wish they could put a bullet in your knee cap

  • somebody has to control this trash. bring back the chains.

  • It all depends if your a sovereign or not. the thing is whats the difference between a police officer and a police man/woman?

do your research and know your rights!

  • Well the odd thing it's quite alright for people to "instigate" the police by cursing at them, running from them or just being plain jerks towards them in the name of "professionalism". Then again some of you wonder why police seem to be so rude towards you. Everyone is entitled to their constitutional rights by all means but I will leave you with this thought. A society that hates its police should first learn how to be friends with its criminals.

  • I am glad you are out there keeping an eye on the cops. That is only if you do it legal most of the ones I have seen cop watch do brake the law. Most of cop watch video I have seen here have been shot in the cops face, lots of question while he is trying to do his job. [that is interfering with a investigation ] When you are in the street that is J walking .

  • You see, this is where I'm confused. I thought the whole purpose of copwatch was to document police misconduct? but in most instances, there wasn't any police misconduct and yet, copwatch attempts to make it seem that in every case, there is police misconduct. I wonder why that is?

  • Well smart guy, if you hadn't figured this one out by now, I'l let you in on a little something. Video cameras deter police misconduct.

  • Ahh, but copwatch attempts to make it seem that police misconduct is taking place, even when it isn't. But I also like how copwatch teaches potential criminals to beat the system, especially when they are fellow copwatch members. Am I against copwatch watching police officers? not at all, but of course, we never get to see the cops when they are doing things right...do we? kind of one sided isn't it?

  • @Jacobzladder If I was a police officer, I could care less if a video camera was there. If a person is extremely resisting arrest, I'll use force to restrain him, and some douchebag across the street will film me and file a complaint for excessive force. Just another day in the office...

  • @Jacobzladder Well said. Frankly I believe that in contrast with many countries, United States police agencies employ relatively well-behaved and generally-trusted cops. But without accountability, we would have every reason to expect corruption and abuse. For example if you get pulled over in Mexico, you'd better be carrying cash.

Accountability is the only thing that keeps the USA from such abuses of power.

  • @Jacobzladder he's a real genius i need to bring me cam out

  • @mchtb1966 all individuals are more cautiously aware when being observed, Psychology 101!

  • @helobelow Actually most officers have no clue that they're being recorded. But of course, if you're right there in the officer's face then how will we know how that officer will respond. Will some act in a bad manner? of course. However, not all police officers act in an unprofessional manner. But catching the good officers is "not" what cop watch is about...right?

  • @mchtb1966 Exactly, they are constantly instigating.

  • These people are useless turds.

  • you're "rights are bring taken away" cause you douchebag copwatch people feel the need to engage these officers like 3 year olds. Grow up and get a job.

  • That statement doesn't make any sense...

  • nah....your wrong.....its good that they do that....dont be bias, not all cops are bad.....but don't pretend they don't abuse their authority....these "cop watchers" are just letting em know that people are learning their right and won't be bullied by them anymore...

  • protect who?

  • I'm glad I live in the UK where it actually is illegal to film bobbies on the beat - we get less of this useless conjecture (the actual act that forbids filming is Section 58 Terrorism Act 2000 which was enacted to prevent IRA attacks)

  • @chiplawrie

You sure it has nothing to do with not wanting to be held accountable?

I mean, having to answer to the people who pay your salaries CAN be cumbersome.

  • pos video

  • some people don't know about zoom!

  • Johnny if they have nothing to hide, and I know alot of them do, then why does it matter? Do you have so much blind faith in these police that you feel they dont need watched? Wake up man!

  • Respect goes both ways. With that being said, I don't see the need to get into a police officer's face, assert your own presence, or escalate and/or complicate a situation. If you don't need to be involved, I don't think anyone should make go out of their way and confront officers trying to do their work. I'm not defending all police actions, nor am I condemning our rights. On the streets, I just don't feel that it is important to get yourself involved my confronting the police.

  • Its all about respect. When a cop pulls into the family gas station to fill his squad car up and leaves the pump unattended for 20mins while he drinks coffee inside blocking all the other business for that pump. Simple shit like that pisses me off.

  • cops are lame and petty, for the simple fact that they do what they are told when they are told because its their "jobs" well being a war vet, i know first hand doing your job isnt the right thing all the time and until americans begin to think and stop following everything they read. we will stay behind the rest. whats power with no knowledge?

  • We are going to lose our rights whether we assert them or not. It's just the rotten lawless nation we live in. When the people are in position are to uphold the law but break the law. There is no law. I've seen enough in my time to know that it's only going to get worse. I'm going to say every cop is a bad cop. But I will say atleast 90+% are bad. If you ever looking for a good liar. Find a cop.

  • jacobzladder, i hope you or someone you know gets raped or murdered and you have to deal with the police you are watching and hoping you catch doing something wrong just so you can have a few seconds of fame saying you were the one who recorded it, get a life and let the police do what they are payed to do, PROTECT THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES

  • Comment removed

  • @ultramegatrion not true. I'm a police officer and you can record me on the job anytime you want. Just do it in a manner that isn't intrusive. You'll find that alot of officers think in the same manner that I do.

  • PHOTOGRAPHERS RIGHTS PAGE (from a Lawyer) printable card you can carry in a wallet

    krages(.)com/phoright(.)htm

    KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!!!!

  • This seems to be cops against citizens, now thats messed up

  • "For in every city these two opposite parties [people vs aristocracy] are to be found, arising from the desire of the populace to avoid oppression of the great, and the desire of the great to command and oppress the people. For when the nobility see that they are unable to resist the people, they unite in exalting one of their number and creating him prince, so as to be able to carry out their own designs under the shadow of his authority..." (Machiavelli, The Prince, ch. IX)

  • It seems like using that particular language, "I do not consent to this search" reminds the officer that you know your rights and will not tolerate any violation of them.

  • When an officer come and ask you to open your backpack, I hope your not stupid enough to say "I don't feel like it"

  • Smart enough to say I don't feel like it. Tell the Officer to go ahead and get some probable cause,

Like we instruct people in our trainings tell the officer "I do not consent to this search".

  • The officer at 6:30 is alright in my book. That's the kind who COMMANDS respect, by being respectable, as opposed to the assholes who DEMAND respect.

  • manawaraya fuck you pigs

  • But officers are there to protect and serve. Interfering with their jobs doesn't help anyone. Just think what you would do the next time you called 911 and they found out that you were harassing them while they were trying to do their jobs. You would be fucked. If I was a cop, I would let that person die.

  • clearly we don't want you to be a cop, police are supposed to be held to the highest standards of professionalism. can't handle the stress? quit the job, plain and simple. we don't need over aggressive man children terrorizing our streets.

  • AMEN!!!

  • @Jacobzladder When can we draw the line between abiding by the law and abusing your rights?

  • US Code Title 18, Part I, Chapter 12, §231.3

    (3) Whoever commits or attempts to commit any act to obstruct, impede, or interfere with any fireman or law enforcement officer lawfully engaged in the lawful performance of his official duties incident to and during the commission of a civil disorder (snip) - Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

  • "law enforcement officer lawfully engaged in the lawful performance of his official duties "

Can people obstruct, impede or interfere with an officer unlawfully engaged in the unlawful performance of his unofficial duties??

Not trying to be a wise-ass, just wondering if you know?

  • When an officer is committing a crime, they are acting outside of the law and cannot hide behind their badge or gang.

Copwatch documents police crimes frequently, Copwatch exists because police need to be held accountable. Part of Copwatch's mission is to document police misconduct, not to obstruct regardless of how the police are behaving.

  • @stewartx5

So you can commit civil disorder by holding them accountable with 3rd Party observance (that being a camera)?

  • marshallone > "only Law in this nation is the Constitution."

Good grief. The United States Constitution itself gives Congress the authority to make laws. Those laws are contained within the United States Code.

  • Can someone tell me how to become a Copwatcher. I have been the victim of profiling too long. Im sick of it!

  • Governments do not make Laws, the Government is here to do one thing:

Protect the God given rights of the People. The only Law in this nation is the Constitution, which was made to protect the People. The government today is nothing but a corporation and makes peons of the people with the national debt and voluntary complaince with the threat of violence against the people, Its time to get back to the way things are supposed to be in this nation.

  • I whole heartedly agree with you on this point with the exception that Governments don't make laws? What about the congress, aren't they elected officials of the people in the position of government positions? But, what I don't understand is that so many are hell bent on going after the Police, we all share the same common enemy, which is the corporate scums who are in power today. Attacking the Police to get even with the government is like going after the milk man to punish the dairy!

  • Congress makes ACTS which become Codified, there is no enableing act so they are not Laws of the Land. The Constitutions only apply to government workers and US CITIZENS, which are a legal subclass to the Sovereign. You must know the southern states suceeded and the union of the US was no more. There has not been a lawful congress since, as the southern states were brought back to the union by force. I agree, ignorance is the enemy, not the police.

  • Look at your copy of your states revised stautes, it is copyrighted material. Laws are NOT copyrighted, never have been. The copyright material belongs to the Legistaltive branch of the state you live in, they are trust coroprations, they make profit from those statutes, again, they are not the Law of the Land.

  • What I don't understand about these videos is that in all of them, they say "Go and ask for their badge #'s? Why? if the officer isn't doing anything wrong, why does someone feeled so compelled to ge the number unless they are going to file a bogus complaint.

  • You ask a Police Officer for His or Her Badge number because if they do something stupid they need to be brought to court. So it's for yours and the other Civilians Safety around you. Not all Police Officers are mean. But there are some who will beat your ass if they feel like it.

  • lewistopcop:

Quit breaking the law asshole and the police wont "violate you"

Regardless if someone breaks the law the police are required by LAW not to violate someone. They are here to serve us, not police us like we are all criminals.

I honestly feel that we are violated on a regular basis and it needs to stop now!

  • If you honestly feel like you are constantly violated, then you are likely placing yourself in situations the rest of the 90% of us in America are not! But I do agree with you that Police won't bother you generally if you are not violating the law!

  • That is totally an Incorrect Statement, it is your constitutional right to know their information and when a Police Officer doesn't give you their information then they are breaking the law themselves. You have the right to "Gawk" at the Police. Kinda like how people Gawk at traffic accidents. Look up your information before you post it. That would be a better option for you

  • the right to observe is not in the contitution so thats bs go to law school if you want to make a difference its stupid every time some one gets arrested some one thinks its wrong its stupid and childish

  • I'm not a cop and guess what my boss has cameras in the building where I work so why are the cops above being filmed while they work. Employers film their employees all the time nothing new.. cops have dash cameras too.

  • The people who Post here for the most part are definitely criminals themselves and therefore can't stand the fact that we officers want them to do right in their lives, not victimize others.

  • What deputy cornhole? Do you know any of these people personally? No? Then STFU!

And go back to beating your wife and kids.

  • Another moron who can't handle someone else's opinion! Telling me to STFU, WOW that was really intense. Then you tell me to go and keep beating my kids and wife, that makes little sense. Maybe you need a time out in the corner or maybe I should go ahead an put you in a 72 hour hold! You seem really angry, are you off your meds?

  • Comment removed

  • definitely wouldnt call your pig ass. cops are worthless pieces of shit, and the whole "us vs them" is due to their lack of respect for human rights.

  • There really isn't a "Us vs. them" going on, its usually perpetuated by media and the criminal folks out there who are the most interviewed.

  • Are you kidding? Damn do you get all your information from the News Media? There are things called "Corrupt Cops" out there. Believe it or not most Police Officers Don't know the law themselves. Read the Constitution. I'm no Criminal. And I know for a fact Police Officers Abuse their right more then half the time.

  • they need to send all the pigs to guantanamo.

  • yeah good idea... send all the cops to guantanamo... better yet kill them all right. this is why cops think its "us against them". cops think civilians are all out to get them. thats really great... I wonder who do you call when your mother gets robbed and raped in your neighborhood.

  • He calls his buddies then he goes and shoots the wrong house in revenge further carrying on the tradition of stupidity in our neighborhoods

  • badge number doesnt mean anything.

  • Say what you will. without the ability to identify Johannes Mehserle, he would not be on trial for murder. Yeah the badge number not seem important to the fuzz, but when you're hung out to dry for poor conduct, it is our ability to identify the offficer that ensures accountability

  • what im trying to say is, to some other P.D's the badge number itself doesnt mean a thing. there are other unique identifier for officers. I had several numbers issued to me. we lose badges all the time and all you have to do is go to the supply Sgt. and you get another one. Hence, badge dont mean a thing for most PD's. So if you think having my badge number is gonna get you anywhere, well good luck. It may not work

  • badge numbers aren't always ID numbers.

  • haha fuck the cops

  • Haha fuck the criminals

  • why d you want to give away your freedom?

  • What freedom did I give away?

  • the freedom to be free

  • You are not trully free, total freedom without any reprecussion is an illusion! No where in the world under any rule of law, government is anyone trully free. I have not given up any additional of my freedoms guaranteed under the constitution other than what might have been taken away from us under the last administration! The only freedom I take away from people, simply is that of people who go to jail because they committed a crime!

  • Commercial crimes, without a victim or damage to personal property is no crime at all. And no, the State of XXXXX cannot be a vitcim. Its pretty simple, if you do not issue victims rights forms, there is no crime.

  • Not everyone that gets arrested is a criminal. You are just like the other 1/4th of Americans who can't see the real world. Have you ever been pulled over? Have you ever been given a ticket? What about being stopped for something you didn't do? I doubt any of that. Otherwise you would realize what goes on. Now I'm not against Police Officers, infact I am training to be a Police Officer I just think people need to know what really happens.

  • whats wrong piggies, "if you aren't doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about"

    lmfao

  • I don't have to worry about it, I think its fun coming in here and ruffling your feathers

  • you sound like a cop

  • I am one, but I respect the rule of law that my country and state has provided me. I too feel the pinch once in a while when it comes from cops using radar constantly to get speeders, but I can't blame them for my own actions. Plus, again it isn't the officers fault that their administrators and higher government above them made them do it if they wanted a job.

  • you dont have to ruffle anyones feathers. and if you dont like the rules the higher government puts in place, you dont have to work that job, quit. work at burger king

  • I know I don't, I like to reply to "Cop Haters" who spew crap. We all have the right to our opinions, I have mine, so many feel the need to throw expletives at me for my views. You don't of course, which I truly respect! Of course I can quit at any time, but no where in the real world does anyone like every rule that their superiors have in place. I like my job, I do it well, and I like that I can have a positive effect on situations. Of course being human, I don't like every part of my job!

  • The only law you or any Peace officer has to authroity to enforce is the Constitution(s) remeber your Oath? You did not swear to uphold "Statutes of the state, codes of the city or Acts of Congress" You took an oath to uphold the Law, those other things are NOT LAW and you have no authority to force them on the People. I would ask you to learn what law is and do your Duty accordingly.

  • Well you debate fairly, however I did take an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States, the state in which I serve and to fight enemies foreign and domestic! You say they are not law? Huh, okay, will according to the state constitutions, supreme courts of the states and the federal supreme court, they are laws! And yes if it is law in that state as long as it doesn't attempt to impede Federal law, it is enforceable!

  • Nope, they are not laws of the land, only the Constitutions are. Everything else is a CODE, ACT, RULE or statute. They are Law IF you consent to them its called 'color of law' and 'color of authority'. There is a legal difference between a Police officer and a Peace officer.

  • fuck the police

  • This video is nothing but bullshit. you people video taping need to get real jobs.

  • LOL NO joke, you see them all? Dreadlocks, Ghetto or Hippie lookin. I say if you arent running afoul of the law, you shouldnt be so worried :)

  • we really need copwatch in erie pa

  • get a camera and you are cop watch

  • Going to be funny when someone shoots a mother fucking cop for this dumb shit.Cant wait

  • i am in cincinnati, ohio... and recently beat by police officers and falsely charged with assaulting a police officer... i am requesting support and advice from the entire youtube community... my rights have been repeatedly violated by officers for the last 17 years here in cincinnati... i seriously need help with an attorney

  • Youre a naive idiot.

  • hey (lewistopcop) you are so stupid!!! there are lots of people out here who dont break the law and still get violated by the police. its fools like u who makes me sick!!!

  • they are not breaking the law dumbass

  • douchebag i hope some criminal violates your pig ass

  • You have the right to observe. No rights are mentioned to record. It is illegal to invade a officers personal space. Everyone needs to remember police officers have guns, they need to protect themselves and others. and if someone is close enough to place a hand on that officers gun, then the officers has all the rights to tell you to back the hell off

Its funny..cop watcher always ask for badge numbers and never do anything with it...even if they do, they are still full of shit

  • I understand your point that no every cop is an inbred and that some are good people carrying out unjust work.

I have been copwatching shy of a decade, like you when you engage in an detention you document who you're dealing with, copwatchers do the same, you should not shy away from anyone asking your identity, it's part of what your work entails, operating in public in a professional manner and interacting with the public,

  • the taped murder of oscar grant has galvanized the community to observe and document the police and how they interact with us, police over the years to come with become accustomed to this form of civilian oversight, it's never easy to have people watching your performance, i was a cook for years, but accountability is important, we don't have it, and this is the beginning to a means to obtain it. thank you for your points

  • Public place or you're on your own property (including vehicles) you are allowed to film. You do not need permission in a public place. If police can put cameras up to film people, I have the same right.

  • they do exchange badges and they watch eachothers back who are you going to complain to anyway the police?

  • Should come to NYC, they erased the vids out of my cam but I got them back.

  • At 2:35 he says cops don't hide their names.

Here in NYC, they've been caught exchanging badges so when you come to the station house and claim a tall man named X beat you, a man half his size will be wearing the X guys badge so they can say you are a loon.

  • get the badge # before you discuss anything, even the right that you are practicing. you dont have to listen to a cop who doesn't identify him/herself.

  • dats ma teacher rite there andrea i love her she has the power

  • SO this is what a $100,000. education gets you. What a waste of money.

  • i mean you say this, but you you come off like a waste of energy, then i think about the money mommy and daddy must have invested in keeping you alive? wow! what a waste of money.

  • None of your rights "come from" the Constitution. Either you have your rights or you don't. The Constitution just protects them from the government. When the government listens to it, of course.

  • fuck copwatch i hate all you mother fuckers

  • that's because you're a mark with penal insecurities, you hate everyone, not doubt yourself the most. well guess what mark? not copwatch's fault. actually there's not much you can blame copwatch for, your 'e whack, likely depressed, and def in need of therapy. good luck with all that personal growth

  • wow you seem like you are the angry depressed one. By being part of copwatch you are taking out your anger and nitpicking every cop you film because you want to try to make there life harder because you are too lazy to do anything in life you of course you have to blame it on cops

  • yeah, not so angry and depressed, actually it brings us great joy to stop police misconduct as it is taking place, oh and by the way Mark. im a pretty successful filmmaker, my work is shown on tv across the country and world, so yeah I guess what I'm saying is we're all good over here, I can only help it gets better on your side? where do you live, i could help research some social services for you :)

  • This guy (girl?) is a clown, don't waste your time on this misinformed American fool

  • why all the hate?

  • The point of all this is to remind the police that WE are in charge. If everyone was properly educated on their rights, there would be no need for copwatchers. Dont ever forget- When the people fear the government, you have tryanny. When the government fears the people, you have liberty! SHUT UP AND WAKE UP!!!!!!

  • get their badge number that will solve everything, bunch of crap. People are so stupid, I have a right to observe my butt! if an officer tells you to move you move. Its a right until it interferes with the law. a bunch of self proclaimed law experts, thank goodness we have plenty of room in our jails for people like you

  • you are a dying breed, we have plenty of time to expose you and bring to the truth to your family, they will betray you in your name.

  • Stick that camera up your GAY ASS!!

  • LOL

  • Okay, keep that kinda attitude up. You will cross the wrong officer one day, and think you know your rights and you will find your self in jail for obstruction. Thats fine, you think you know whats up. I hope your right lol.

  • yeah we get those threats all the time, you just wait until you come across the "wrong officer". That's why copwatch is here buddy, cause of all those wrong cops out there, an officer that follows the law they enforce respect the public's right to observe.

  • I understand, I wont deny there are some cops who take it to the extreme, but I wont go as far to say that exercising your right to observe with a camera is a smart thing to do.

I respect what your saying, I just hope it does not work against you thats all.

  • cops have certainly retaliated against copwatchers. i stood trial for observing, but you have to understand, our documentation along with public testimony always shows a lot more to the story then an officers report. we have the right to observe, copwatch finds that videos cameras help raise the level of accountability as police interact with the public.

  • Yeah, you're attitude is why people more and more dislike the police deputy. If somebody is 30 feet away taking pictures it doesn't interfere with the police at all. They just don't want their picture taken and most of all they don't want to be accountable to anybody for their actions. That's why cops lie about what happens as a matter of routinue. It's scarry where this could lead with the police.

  • 30 feet away is a lot different than 10 feet, it is all relative, you have those who are close like in these videos that are told not to do something and they do anyway. Like I said, it is a right until it interfers with police investigation, or an arrest. A lot of cops really tarnish the badge. They go way beyond what is reasonable. The key to staying objective is looking at all sides of the square. Unfortunately, the attitude you dislike about police is what is necessary to keep us alive.

  • Cops have become VERY self-serving in the past 5 years. You can't even get out of your car now when you're pulled over for a traffic ticket. And cops really don't think they're accountable to anyone anymore. When there is a shooting, they lie the @ss off about what really happened. I've stopped trying to have friendly relations with cops. I just try to ignore them. I don't look at them or even speak to
